Andy Karl Joins WICKED as 'Fiyero'

Beginning performances Tuesday, February 2, ANDY KARL will assume the role of Fiyero in the Broadway production of WICKED. He joins a cast which includes Dee Roscioli as Elphaba, Katie Rose Clarke as Glinda, Tony Award-winner Rondi Reed as Madame Morrible, P.J. Benjamin as The Wizard, Alex Brightman as Boq, Jenny Fellner as Nessarose, and Timothy Britten Parker as Dr. Dillamond. Through January 31, Kevin Kern will play the role of Fiyero.

Tony Award Winner Kristin Chenoweth, who is currently developing a feature film based on the life of Dusty Springfield, told E! News back in April that she'd love to have Kerry Washington (currently starring in David Mamet's RACE on Broadway) play her lesbian lover in the film. E! caught up with Washington recently and she was delighted with the idea. She told E! 'It's very exciting. I feeling like I've been waiting to make out with her forever.'

Brian Yorkey To Direct Village Theater's LOST IN YONKERS
