Tony winner Julie White may soon be headed back to television.

?City Theatre presents the Pittsburgh premiere of Anna Ziegler's tennis play, The Last Match. The production runs April 9 - May 15 in the Lester Hamburg Studio at City Theatre. It is directed by City Theatre Artistic Director, Tracy Brigden.

The Wilbury Theatre Group proudly continues its 2015/16 season with the New England premiere of the new indie rock musical Murder Ballad, April 14-30, 2016. Created by Jonathan Larson Award winner and two-time Susan Smith Blackburn Prize finalist Julia Jordan with book and lyrics by Jordan and music and lyrics by indie rock singer/songwriter Juliana Nash and directed by Wendy Overly (Next to Normal) with musical direction by Courtney Swain, Murder Ballad is the 'hot blooded and electrifying' new musical that the New York Times says audiences 'won't be able to resist.'

Want to be in an Encores! production? This is your chance! New York City Center will hold an open audition for teen actors (ages 13-18) on Saturday, March 19, at Talent Unlimited High School (317 East 67th Street) for the Encores! Off-Center production of Runaways-Elizabeth Swados' landmark 1978 musical about the stories, fears, and fantasies of young people living on the streets.

The Public Theater presents the New York premiere of HEAD OF PASSES, written by TarellAlvin McCraney and directed by Tina Landau. Part of Oskar Eustis' 10th anniversary season, HEAD OF PASSES begins previews tonight, March 17, in the Newman Theater and runs through Sunday, April 17, with an official press opening on Monday, March 28.

The Old Globe just announced the complete cast and creative team of its production of Nick Payne's Broadway hit play CONSTELLATIONS, arriving April 9, directed by the Globe's own Richard Seer. BroadwayWorld is excited to report that Christian Coulson and Victoria Frings will star in the two-person play.

Atlantic Theater Company presents the world premiere of Academy Award nominee and Pulitzer Prize finalist Kenneth Lonergan's latest play HOLD ON TO ME DARLING, directed by Atlantic Artistic Director Neil Pepe.

Chicago Danztheatre Ensemble (CDE) concludes its 15th season dedicated to the woman's voice, and its ongoing mission of "performance with a purpose," with Shirley Lauro's A Piece of My Heart, directed by CDE fellow Victoria Alvarez-Chacon, and described by the Association of Vietnam Veterans of America as "the most enduring play on Vietnam in the nation."  A Piece of My Heart follows tells the true experiences of six women working in Vietnam during wartime. The powerful accounts of these women - five nurses and one country western singer - take place before, during and after Vietnam, and each story concludes with a personal token left at the memorial wall in Washington. 

Marin Theatre Company is proud to announce Rachel Bonds as the 2015 Sky Cooper New American Play Prize winner for her play Swimmers-which is currently running on the MTC mainstage-and Nick Gandiello as the 2015 David Calicchio Emerging American Playwright Prize winner for his play Sunrise Highway. Now in its ninth year, MTC's two new play prizes continue to celebrate the work of the American playwright and encourage the creation of bold, powerful new voices and plays for the American stage.

In a major theatrical event marking the 400th anniversary of William Shakespeare's death, BAM, the Royal Shakespeare Company, and The Ohio State University present the US Premiere of Shakespeare's History plays in KING AND COUNTRY: SHAKESPEARE'S GREAT CYCLE OF KINGS. Following performances at the Barbican, and in China in Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong, the plays are directed by RSC Artistic Director Gregory Doran and performed in repertory at the BAM Harvey Theater from Mar 24 through May 1, 2016.

The Pearl Theatre Company is pleased to present the world premiere of The Dingdong, Mark Shanahan's adaptation of French farceur Georges Feydeau's Le Dindon. Directed by The Pearl Theatre's Artistic Director Hal Brooks, The Dindong follows the misadventures of one madcap night in a Paris Hotel, dancing us into a world where opening the wrong door in the dark of night leads to mayhem, laughter and, maybe, a few home truths about the secrets to a happy marriage. The production runs April 5-May 15 and features five actors taking on multiple roles in this breezy comedy full of romance, lust and theatricality. 

Not satisfied with the way he played the role Off-Broadway in 2007, the actor searches deeper into disturbing emotions.

David Harrower's BLACKBIRD, the Olivier Award-winning drama starring Jeff Daniels and Michelle Williams opens tonight, Thursday, March 10, at the Belasco Theatre on Broadway. The production, directed by Joe Mantello, will continue its 18-week limited engagement through June 11.

Keen Company's spring production of BOY, featuring Bobby Steggert, Heidi Armbruster, Paul Niebanck, and Rebecca Rittenhouse, opens tonight Off-Broadway at The Clurman Theatre at Theatre Row.

Writers Theatre Artistic Director Michael Halberstam and Executive Director Kathryn M. Lipuma announce the 25th Anniversary Season, the company's first full season in its new home at 325 Tudor Court in Glencoe.

Philadelphia Theatre Company's next production promises to excite with SEX WITH STRANGERS by Laura Eason on April 8-May 8 at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre (Broad and Lombard Streets).  Directed by David Saint, the production features Kyle Coffman as the young, brash writer Ethan Kane and JoAnna Rhinehart as novelist and teacher Olivia Lago. 

Williamstown Theatre Festival has announced that HANNAH AND THE DREAD GAZEBO by Jiehae Park is the 2016 L. Arnold Weissberger New Play Award recipient. Jiehae will also receive The Jay Harris Commission to write a new play, a prize worth $10,000.
