As the 2nd annual “Heal The Music Day” wraps for 2018, more than 170 members of the music community – songwriters, musicians, performers, artist managers, publishers, business managers, record labels, trade organizations and more – pledged a percentage of their single-day revenues to support their fellow musicians and peers in the industry in times of medical crisis. With $300,000 raised in support of Music Health Alliance, every dollar donated equals $30 in life-saving healthcare resources. Music Health Alliance's free services range from access to doctors and hospitals, medicine, health insurance and finding financial assistance during times of illness.

 In honor of #GivingTuesday, CMT announced today a partnership with The Shop Forward to raise funds for The American Red Cross providing much-needed disaster relief across the country. With the recent wildfires in California and hurricanes in the Southeast, millions of country fans have been affected, so CMT worked to create a custom Country Gives Back tee and is making it available for sale. The tee-shirts are $26 with the proceeds benefiting the Red Cross to help with recovery efforts and other crises. Church is a 25-time CMA Awards nominee and three-time winner, having won Album of the Year in both 2012 and 2016 as well as Musical Event of the Year in 2015. Today, USA Network revealed the 21 artists competing in its new music showcase series REAL COUNTRY and the prizing they will be vying for. The Country Music Association's critically acclaimed CMA Songwriters Series Presented by U.S. Bank has announced a performance at Showbox SoDo in Seattle Tuesday, Dec. 4 at 7:00 PM featuring performances by Bailey Bryan, Barry Dean, Sam Palladio and Cassadee Pope. The series hosts intimate performances with some of Country Music's most exciting songwriting talent taking turns telling the stories behind their hit songs and performing them as originally written. In celebration of “The 52nd Annual CMA Awards,” Country Music's Biggest Night, ABC is set to air its 10th annual pre-CMA Awards Special, “Country Music's Biggest Stars: In the Spotlight with Robin Roberts,” Sunday, Nov. 11 from 9:00-10:00 PM/CT on The ABC Television Network. 

The Country Music Association's critically acclaimed CMA Songwriters Series wrapped the second-annual U.K. and European tours with a final show in London, England. Stops on the European tour included Stockholm, Oslo, Hamburg and Amsterdam before heading to the U.K. for shows in Glasgow, Liverpool, Gateshead, Manchester and London. Featured artists on the tour, that ran from Oct. 8 – 22, included Kassi Ashton, Ashley Campbell, Chris DeStefano, Tenille Townes, Drake White and Charlie Worsham.

Nationally syndicated morning talk show “Live with Kelly and Ryan” announces the lineup of guests appearing on the show the week of Oct. 29 – Nov. 2.
