The official teaser poster for Disney's big screen adaptation of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's fairy tale-themed musical INTO THE WOODS was unveiled at an international film festival this week and BroadwayWorld brings you the exclusive first look.

After a sold-out run at Hudson Guild Theatre, the U.S. premiere of A Little Princess continues performances through June 15 at The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center, located at 480 West 42nd Street, New York City. Based on the beloved novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett, this brand new adaptation comes straight from London. Featuring Music & Lyrics by Marc Folan and a Book by Adam Boden. The Academy Award winning actress has learned to rap for her role as The Witch in Rob Marshall's highly anticipated film adaption of the Stephen Sondheim musical.

Into the Woods is coming back- and not just on the big screen! BroadwayWorld has just confirmed that the musical will return to the New York Stage soon. Roundabout Theatre Company will present McCarter Theatre Center and Fiasco Theatre's acclaimed, re-imagined production of the Tony Award-winning musical classic by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine at the Laura Pels Theatre in Winter 2015.

Yesterday, Jan. 4, high-flying theater spectacle SPIDER:MAN: TURN OFF THE DARK took its final flight, with Billy Crystal's 700 SUNDAYS, the revival of ANNIE, BETRAYAL with Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz, and FIRST DATE with Zachary Levi and Krysta Rodriguez following suit today, Jan. 5.

ANNIE will play its final performance on Broadway today, January 5, 2014. Upon closing, the production, which opened on November 8, 2012 at the Palace Theatre (Broadway at 47th Street), will have played 487 performances and 38 previews.
