February is Smoking at Blue Note Hawaii

February is jam packed at Blue Note Hawaii, the state's premier venue for the world's most celebrated artists, starting off with a tribute to some of the world's most celebrated artists lost in 2016 by local singer/songwriter Tim Rose. Jazz songstress Karrin Allyson makes her Blue Note Hawaii debut for four nights, followed by soulful GRAMMY® Award-winning songwriter Marc Cohn. Other notable artists include Mike Izon, Tsun Hui Hung, Meleana Brown, Maryanne Ito, Tavana, Donavon Frankenreiter, Max V, Willie K, Blayne Asing, Israel Vibration & Roots Radics, Kaumakaiwa Kanaka'ole and DeAndre Brackensick.

International House to Host Leontyne Price 90th Birthday Tribute Concert

In the early 1950s, when she was a student at the Juilliard School, beloved soprano Leontyne Price, who turns 90 on February 10, lived and worked at International House, the Riverside Drive residential community founded by the Rockefeller and Dodge families in1924 dedicated to preparing the next generation of globally-minded leaders.

Irish Arts Monthly Series Will Feature Tobin and Robson Joined by a Rotating Cast of Special Guests from the NYC Jazz World

Irish Arts Center is pleased to announce Tobin's Run on 51, a new series of jazz nights curated by award-winning Irish singer-songwriter Christine Tobin and acclaimed guitarist Phil Robson, who return to IAC after two sold-out concerts where they performed songs by Leonard Cohen. The series, which takes place at Irish Arts Center (553 West 51st Street, New York) on February 23, March 23 and April 27, will feature Tobin and Robson joined by special guests consisting of some of New York's best Irish and international musicians to play sets and share stories about music's greatest artists and treasures.

Enda Walsh's ROOMS, New Music Series and More Slated for Spring 2017 at Irish Arts Center

Even before breaking ground on their new home, IAC will welcome audiences into the existing Cybert Tire site for Rooms, a site-specific theatrical installation by the great Irish playwright Enda Walsh (May 3-28). IAC will present Rooms alongside St. Ann's Warehouse premiere of Walsh's new play, Arlington (May 3-28), making for a season of Walsh works in New York, supported by Culture Ireland.

Cast Complete for MARK FELT, SUPERSTAR at York Theatre Company

The York Theatre Company, dedicated to the development of new musicals and preserving musical gems from the past, has announced the complete cast for the New2NY presentation of the new musical Mark Felt, Superstar with book, music and lyrics by Joshua Rosenblum (Bush Is Bad, Fermat's Last Tango).

Pierrot Productions to Bring 'JACQUES BREL' to MCCC's Kelsey Theatre

Ring in the New Year with a musical revue that will delight and surprise you - and even offer up some words of wisdom for the times we live in. Pierrot Productions presents 'Jacques Brel Is Alive and Well and Living in Paris' at Mercer County Community College's (MCCC's) Kelsey Theatre Todays, Jan. 6 and 13 at 8 p.m.; Saturdays, Jan. 7 and 14 at 8 p.m.; and Sundays, Jan. 8 and 15 at 2 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is located on MCCC's West Windsor Campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.
