REPRISE 2.0 (led by Producing Artistic Director Marcia Seligson), in association with the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television's Department of Theater (UCLA TFT) chaired by Brian Kite, presents its inaugural production of Sweet Charity.  Directed and choreographed by Kathleen Marshall with musical direction by Gerald Sternbach, the classic Broadway hit plays through July 1 at UCLA's Freud Playhouse. Directed and choreographed by musical theatre whiz Kathleen Marshall with Musical Direction by Gerald Sternbach who brilliantly directs a full orchestra seen onstage as part of the staircase set designed by Stephen Gillford, SWEET CHARITY stars Laura Bell Bundy who brings the joy and wonder of Charity Hope Valentine energetically to the Freud Playhouse stage. With her heart literally worn on her sleeve, the musical follows the dance hall hostess as she searches around the mean streets of New York City in 1966 in her attempt to be loved, not just for sex but for her generous heart and giving nature.

The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center announces casting and creative teams for the summer season of new musicals and plays selected for development at the National Music Theater Conference and National Playwrights Conference.

Registration is now taking place for TAKE IT FROM THE TOP is a series of exciting, interactive workshops offered through Wharton Center Institute for Arts & Creativity. Participants - from pre-teens to young adults and beyond - receive a unique opportunity to train with a brilliant team of leading Broadway professionals. Former instructors include such talented Broadway performers as 2014 Tony Award® winner for Best Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical, Billy Porter, and Shoshana Bean, who played Elphaba in Wicked.

Actress Laura Bell Bundy is about to reopen Reprise. She will be playing the role of Charity in Sweet Charity, set to open at the Freud Playhouse, UCLA on June 20. In our chat, Bundy talks about the joy that Charity exudes, the reason she cannot wait to play her. Laura, how exciting to be playing Charity and …being a part of the first show to open the new Reprise! What do you love most about the character of Charity? I love her childlike quality.  Children are open, excitable, playful, optimistic, hopeful, delicate, resilient … they haven't become jaded by life's trials yet… and despite the trials Charity goes through, she still keeps going back for more with her head up, and her heart open.

Reese Witherspoon confirms Legally Blonde 3 with nostalgic social media video!

According to Deadline, MGM is near a deal with Reese Witherspoon to reprise her role as Elle Woods in Legally Blonde 3, along with the majority of the creative team from the first film.

Harris Doran's award-winning film Beauty Mark, starring Laura Bell Bundy, has been released by The Orchard and is available nationwide On Digital and On Demand. The film, which premiered at the Los Angeles Film Festival, where lead actress Auden Thornton won a special jury prize for "Breakout Performance," can be seen on all platforms. Casting is announced for two REPRISE 2.0 productions with two Tony Award leading actress nominees: Laura Bell Bundy (Legally Blonde - Tony Nomination, Hairspray, Anger Management) is to play Charity in Sweet Charity, directed and choreographed by three time Tony Award-winner Kathleen Marshall from June 20 to July 1, and Carmen Cusack (Bright Star - Tony Nomination, Wicked) is to play Victoria Grant in Victor/Victoria directed by Richard Israel and choreographed by John Todd from September 5 to 16 at UCLA's Freud Playhouse.
