Today Change.org and GLAAD, the nation's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) media advocacy organization, launched a Mother's Day campaign in support of Jennifer Tyrrell, a mother of four from Bridgeport, Ohio who was ousted from the Boy Scouts of America because she is gay. Celebrities including Julianne Moore, Fran Drescher and Jane Leeves today tweeted after Josh Hutcherson, Kim Wayans, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, as well as Max Adler and Grant Gustin of Glee previously showed support for Tyrrell at the GLAAD Media Awards.

At last night's 23rd Annual GLAAD Media Awards, Cher and Congresswoman Mary Bono Mack (R-CA) presented the Stephen F. Kolzak Award to Chaz Bono, and Benicio Del Toro presented the Vanguard Award to Josh Hutcherson. Glee stars Max Adler and Grant Gustin presented the Rodemeyer family. GLAAD Media Award recipients were announced in 25 of this year's 32 media categories at the 22nd Annual GLAAD Media Awards presented nationally by RÖKK Vodka and locally by American Airlines and Prudential at the Marriott Marquis Times Square in New York on Saturday night. The 21st Annual GLAAD Media Awards were held last night, March 13, 2010 at the Marriott Marquis in New York City. The event was hosted by Tony Award winner Alan Cumming. Colman Domingo's 'A Boy and His Soul', produced by the Vineyard Theatre, won the Outstanding New York Theater: Broadway & Off-Broadway award, while 'She Likes Girls' by Chisa Hutchison took home the award in the Outstanding New York Theater: Off-Off-Broadway category. The Broadway musical HAIR received a Special Recognition Award for their support of LGBT equality.
