The GRAMMY Foundation will host 'A Song Is Born,' the 16th Annual GRAMMY Foundation Legacy Concert (formerly the Music Preservation Project), featuring live musical performances and archival footage from its preservation archives on Jan. 23, 2014. Rollingstone.com reports that Tony Award winner Cyndi Lauper is among this year's nominees for the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

It was announced last Saturday evening, from the stage of the Ryman Auditorium, that Ricky Skaggs will be the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum's 2013 Artist-in-Residence. Skaggs will present two intimate evening performances on November 18 and 19, at 7:00 p.m. The concerts will be the museum's first public programs in the new CMA Theater.
