'See 'Em On Stage: A Production Company' has announced the world premiere of a bloody new holiday musical comedy: 'A Christmassacre Story'. Tony-award winning actor Michael Cerveris (Sweeney Todd, The Good Wife) plays Burl Ives in this brand new Christmas horror musical comedy. The puppet and live action show features original songs by Paul Sanchez (Nine Lives, two time New Orleans Songwriter of the Year) and Mary Lasseigne (Mary Jane & The Brain Surgeon, Cowboy Mouth), with a book and additional lyrics by Kimberly Kaye (Nine Lives) under the direction of Christopher Bentivegna (Musical Of The Living Dead)

NINE LIVES: A Musical Witness of New Orleans depicts the personal stories of a diverse selection of New Orleans across the forty years between Hurricanes Betsy and Katrina. Based on the Dan Baum book Nine Lives, the musical is adapted with music and lyrics by Paul Sanchez and Colman deKay, additional lyrics by Michael Cerveris, book by Kimberly Kaye and directed by Jim Fitzmorris.

In 2013, I turned 28, which apparently is one of several years at the end of your 20s where basically your life hits the fan and sudden changes surround you. I looked around, and everyone else seemed so happy. Then, I breathed and realized that I have plenty to be happy about. In 2013 I became BroadwayWorld.com's official theatre recording critic and have been exposed to some incredible albums since accepting that title. Some I have loved; others I have not. Regardless of my feelings towards the albums themselves, these are the top 20 songs from 2013 I simply cannot get out of my mind.

In the wake of Hurricane Sandy, Michael Cerveris & Loose Cattle took to the stage in Broadway's living room at 54 BELOW. Despite public transportation and in the face of power outages, the band and fans braved the inclement conditions to revel in the beauty and spirit of live music. The Broadway at Birdland concert series will present the very first UKE NIGHT! tonight, April 15 at 7pm, featuring Ukulele performances by Broadway performers Marc Kudisch, Howard McGillin, Nancy Anderson, Clarke Thorell, Lauren Molina, Jason Poole and others. The evening will be hosted by Jeffry Denman. Proceeds will go towards The Daniel Barden Family Fund. Daniel was one of the children lost in the Sandy Hook Tragedy.
