Just in time for the final sprint to the finish line in the presidential election race, Firehouse presents this world premiere hybrid mash-up from the revolutionary imaginations of Alfred Jarry (UBU ROI) and George Orwell (1984) about power, corruption...and obscenity. Firehouse's world premiere of UBU 84 will be adapted and directed by James Ricks.

TheatreLAB, Richmond's home for unexpected & evocative performance, is proud to announce the second offering from their 2014/2015 season: Oblivion by Carly Mensch. In this regional premiere production of Oblivion, directed by Jeffrey Cole, we meet Uber-hip Brooklynite parents, Pam (Kimberly Jones Clark) and Dixon (Joe Pabst), who take great pride in their progressive approach to parenting…however, when their 17-year-old daughter, Julie (Zoe Cotzias), repeatedly lies about where she spent the weekend, their cool, high-brow facade crashes and burns. With the help of her friend Bernard (Joseph Nelson), Julie must discover if her new fascination with Christianity after her weekend trip to Church Camp will break her family's dynamic. TheatreLAB is proud to present Oblivion in The Basement as part of the 2015 Acts of Faith Festival from tonight, February 20th through March 7th.
