Jackson & LaTanya Richardson Jackson, Judith Light, Lucie Arnaz, Nora Ephron & Nick Pileggi, Jane & Morley Safer, Jim Dale, William Ivey Long, Susan Fales-Hill, Mario Buatta, Ted Hartley & Dina Merrill, Melissa & Chappy Morris and Susan Patricoff. Campbell, Gold, Stiller et al. Set for Staged Reading of WOMEN'S MINYAN, 9/19 & 9/26

The award winning play from Israel 'Women's Minyan' about a respected Rabbi's wife who flees her abusive marriage and puts herself and her society on trial is coming to New York. It will be presented in an exclusive staged reading this Monday 9/26 3pm & 7pm (reception). This searing drama features a stellar cast of Amelia Campbell, Judy Gold, Emily Zacharias, Amy Stiller, Catherine Wolf, Valerie Issembert, Emma Zaks, Zuzanna Szadkowski, Kendall Rileigh, Rebecca Louise Miller, Bern Cohen, Lisa Riegel, and Marcia Sterling.

On Sunday, September 18th at 8pm, singer-songwriter Eli Bolin (I Sing!) will be presenting his original music along with guest stars Anthony Rapp (RENT), Lin-Manuel Miranda (In the Heights), Ann Harada (Ave. Q), Greg Hildreth (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson), Shaina Taub (The Daughters), Allison Posner (Volleygirls), Olli Haaskivi (The Bardy Bunch) and lyricist Sam Forman.

Leslie Uggams to be Honored at Arena Stage's Opening Celebration 9/15

Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater kicks off the second year of programming in the company's new home with the 2011/12 Season Opening Celebration September 15, 2011. The evening, which benefits Arena Stage's Community Engagement and educational programs, will include cocktails and dinner featuring the presentation of the American Artist Award to Tony and Emmy award-winning actress Leslie Uggams, followed by the highly anticipated season opening performance of Trouble in Mind by Alice Childress in the Kreeger Theater.

The Roundabout Theatre Company will present SONS OF THE PROPHET off Broadway, with previews beginning Wednesday, September 28th at the Laura Pels Theatre at the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre. The prooduction will officially open on Thursday, October 20, 2011 for a limited engagement production through December 23, 2011. The full cast of the New York premiere of Stephen Karam's new play Sons of the Prophet, directed by Peter DuBois includes Yusef Bulos (Bill), Jonathan Louis Dent (Vin), Santino Fontana (Joseph), Joanna Gleason (Gloria), Lizbeth MacKay (Mrs. McAndrew), Dee Nelson (Dr. Manor), Chris Perfetti (Charles), Charles Socarides (Timothy). Photo Coverage: HAIR Celebrates 300th Performance!

Monday night marked the 300th performnce for the national tour of HAIR, now performing at Broadways St James Theatre. The Tony Award-winning revival of HAIR kicked of its first national tour at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC on October 28, 2010 (following a preview engagement in New Haven, CT) and played 20 cities around the country before heading back to Broadway for a limited 'Summer of Love' run at the St. James Theatre (246 West 44th Street). Mandy Patinkin and Nathan Gunn Set for Ravinia Festival, 8/31

Broadway legend Mandy Patinkin and opera superstar Nathan Gunn combine their vocal talents to create a unique and powerful evening at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 31, in the pavilion. Featured in People magazine's 2008 list of 'The Sexiest Men Alive,' baritone Gunn has performed in opera houses around the world and last appeared at Ravinia in the festival's production of Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro. Tony and Emmy award-winner Patinkin has appeared in the Broadway productions of Evita, Sunday in the Park with George, The Wild Party, The Winter's Tale and The Knife, as well as in CBS's Chicago Hope and Criminal Minds. They will be joined by pianists Julie Gunn and Paul Ford.
