The Shakespeare Society (Michael Sexton, Artistic Director) will present Liev Schreiber, Richard Easton, and Professor David Scott Kastan in Politics, Prince Hal, and the Making of a Leader on Monday, November 3 at 6:30pm at the Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College, East 68 Street, between Park and Lexington Avenues.

On October 6th at 8pm, at Judson Memorial Church, Danny Glover, Kathleen Chalfant and Linda Powell will lead a staged reading of Emmett, Down in My Heart by Clare Coss. Directed by Kenny Leon, Tony Award winner and Emmy nominee for A Raisin in the Sun revival on Broadway and ABC.

YALE REPERTORY THEATRE presents PASSION PLAY by Pulitzer Prize nominee and MacArthur Foundation Fellowship recipient Sarah Ruhl, directed by OBIE Award-winner Mark Wing-Davey at the University Theatre (222 York Street, New Haven), September 19-October 11 only. The 22nd Annual Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction held yesterday Sunday, September 21, raised a grand total of $496,380 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA).

The 22ND ANNUAL BROADWAY FLEA MARKET & GRAND AUCTION was held this Sunday, September 21 from 10 AM - 7 PM in Shubert Alley (225 West 45th Street). Celebrities of theater and daytime television came out to show their support. As in previous years, Broadway and daytime fans had the opportunity to get their photo taken with various celebrities at the Celebrity Photo Booths.

Yale Rep has announced the full cast for their upcoming production of PASSION PLAY by Sarah Ruhl, directed by Mark Wing-Davey at the University Theatre (222 York Street). The show will run from September 19-October 11, 2008. Opening night will be September 25.

'Broadway Stands Up for Freedom', a concert to benefit the Youth Programs of the NYCLU, took place on Monday, July 21 at 7:30pm at the NYU Skirball Center. Hosted by Seth Rudetsky, the event featured opening remarks by playwright Tony Kushner, both of whom also participated in last years event.
