Girl Up, the United Nations Foundation's adolescent girl campaign, today announced Katherine McNamara, star of Freeform's hit show 'Shadowhunters,' as its newest Champion.

In concert with the transition from ABC Family to Freeform, Tom Ascheim, Freeform president, is announcing today that the new Freeform app is now available in the App Store.

One young woman realizes how dark the city can really be when she learns the truth about her past in the series premiere of 'Shadowhunters' tonight, January 12th at 9:00 - 10:00 p.m., EST/PST. ABC Family is becoming Freeform in January 2016.
