Broadway Sings Tori: a Benefit for RAINN, will celebrate and support the work of the Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network. The event will take place on Monday June 27th at 8pm at New World Stages, and will feature songs written by 10-time Grammy nominee Tori Amos, who was the first spokesperson for RAINN.
Broadway's WONDERLAND played its final performance this Sunday, May 15 at 3pm at the Marquis Theatre in front of a packed house including many Broadway notables. This week, Seth welcomes the stars of WONDERLAND, Kate Shindle and Carly Rose Sonenclar. Unfortunately, it was only the night before the interview that the actresses learned that WONDERLAND would be closing. In today's feature, they openly share their thoughts about the end of a show that had become dear to their hearts.
As we first reported earlier, at the curtain call the show's love story mixed with real life, as Darren Ritchie, who played Jack the White Knight proposed to his co-star, Janet Dacal, who played Alice. Darren proposed to Janet on stage right after the curtain call with the entire audience in the house. Janet screamed 'I said yes!' In the audience, there were tears of joy mixed with the sadness for the show closing. Now, the first videos are making their way onto YouTube!
