Theater Breaking Through Barriers (TBTB) will present the world premiere of Kate Moira Ryan's BASS FOR PICASSO beginning May 2nd at the Kirk Theatre on Theatre Row. Previews for the show will begin April 17th and the show will run through May 23rd.

Long anticipated Regional Premiere of The Beebo Brinker Chronicles will open at Brava! for Women in the Arts on February 26, 2010.

With the commitment of its staff and board of directors, Brava! for Women in the Arts hopes to finish the renovation of its landmark building by spring 2010. The venue located in San Francisco's Mission District on 24th Street, plans a Fall opening of the facilities which include a street-side Cabaret/Music space, administrative offices and Greenroom.

The League of Professional Theatre Women, a non-profit organization committed to promoting visibility and increasing opportunities for women in the professional theatre, is pleased to announce its new slate of officers. These women will serve as leaders of the League for a two-year term, from July 1, 2009 until June 30, 2011.

Following rave reviews Too Much Memory, written by Keith Reddin and Meg Gibson, and directed by Ms. Gibson, has sold out its run through its closing on Monday, December 22, at the Fourth Street Theatre, 83 East 4th Street. The Rising Phoenix Repertory and Piece by Piece production opened Tuesday, December 9, to rave reviews as part of New York Theatre Workshop's Jonathan Larson Lab. All performances are sold out. Those wishing to be put on a waiting should arrive at the theatre 45 minutes prior to curtain.

It is written by Kate Moira Ryan (25 Questions for a Jewish Mother, 2007 GLAAD Media Award Winner for Best Play) and Linda S. Chapman (Gertrude and Alice: A Likeness to Loving) and directed by Leigh Silverman (Well).
