Theatre Aspen Season Passes On Sale Now

Theatre Aspen announced that season passes go on sale today for the upcoming summer season. A variety of passes, with exclusive access to booking seats, no fees and other benefits, are available, including specially priced preview passes and the popular Local's Pass for valley residents, offered through June 5. Season Passes are on sale for as low as $80 for the Preview Pass.

Theatre Aspen announced that season passes go on sale today for the upcoming summer season.  A variety of passes, with exclusive access to booking seats, no fees and other benefits, are available, including specially priced preview passes and the popular Local's Pass for valley residents, offered through June 5. Theatre Aspen announced the lineup for its 34th season today. The Hurst Theatre opens with the Tony Award-winning musical HAIRSPRAY, running in repertory with Laura Eason's popular play Sex with Strangers, and a new version of the musical The World According to Snoopy. The organization also announced the return of the Aspen Theatre Festival for new work at the end of August.

Andrew Lippa Will Return to Texas State University This October

Award-winning Broadway composer Andrew Lippa, who was the 2010-2011 Composer in Residence at Texas State, will return to Texas State to perform a concert of music from his shows along side students from the musical theater program and Broadway veteran Kaitlin Hopkins (Bat Boy, Bare) at the Performing Arts Center on the campus of Texas State University on October 17th at 7:30pm. There will also be a silent auction in the lobby of signed Film, TV and Theatre Memorabilia including scripts, photos and posters. All proceeds from the concert will go to scholarships for students in the Department of Theatre and Dance. Terrence Mann, Riley Costello Set for CRT's PETER PAN This Summer

Connecticut Repertory Theatre (CRT) has announced the complete cast for the musical Peter Pan, its second production of the 2015 Nutmeg Summer Series. Directed by Cassie Abate, Peter Pan will star Riley Costello in the title role. Costello was recently seen as Dunlap Dewberry in Because of Winn Dixie at Arkansas Repertory Theatre and as Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Metropolitan Opera in New York City. Costello's Broadway credits include Bye, Bye Birdie, 13: the musical, and Everyday Rapture. Performances of Peter Pan begin on June 18, 2015 and run through July 3, 2015 at Connecticut Repertory Theatre's Harriet S. Jorgensen Theatre.
