Nazareth College brings 9 TO 5 to Callahan Theater

Nothing screams comedy like a workplace fantasy sequence. The Nazareth College Theatre and Dance Department will take on the stage version of 9 to 5: the Musical, based on the 1980 hit film of the same name, April 21-22 at 7:30pm and April 23 at 2 pm in the Callahan Theatre at the Nazareth College Arts Center.

Andrew Upton's new adaptation for Sydney Theatre Company of the 1907 French farce, A Flea in Her Ear by Georges Feydeau, is realised in all its clockwork-precision by the creative team behind STC's Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead: director Simon Phillips, designer Gabriela Tylesova and lighting designer Nick Schlieper. Performances are at the Drama Theatre, Sydney Opera House from 31 October to 17 December (opening 4 November 2016).

Michael Cerveris and Loose Cattle to Release FUN HOME Single 'Pony Girl' This Month

Two-time Tony Award-winner Michael Cerveris and singing partner Kimberly Kaye, along with their band Loose Cattle, have recorded a country version of "Pony Girl," the original song written by FUN HOME Tony Award-winners Jeanine Tesori and Lisa Kron for the musical. Cerveris has created his own arrangement of the song, which was cut during early workshops of Fun Home, turning the tune into a waltzing cowboy lullaby. The single, mastered for iTunes, is now available for pre-sale, and will receive an official release on November 23, 2015 at most online retailers. Cerveris and Loose Cattle will celebrate "Pony Girl" with a release party and concert at Hill Country Barbecue (1123 Broadway) on Monday, November 23 at 8:00PM.
