Webb And Heap Take Over In JEEVES AND WOOSTER: PERFECT NONSENSE!

Comedy stars Mark Heap and Robert Webb will head to the West End to play the roles of Jeeves and Wooster in the five-star hit Perfect Nonsense taking over from Stephen Mangan and Matthew Macfadyen from 7 April 2014. Mark Hadfield will continue in the role of Seppings alongside Heap and Webb.

Bergen County Players to Present AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS, 2/15-3/8

Halfway thru its' 81st season, the Bergen County Players (BCP) continues its' 'From Page to Stage' season theme with its' presentation of Around The World In 80 Days. Under the direction of Ray Yucis, Around The World In 80 Days will be performed at the Little Firehouse Theatre in Oradell from February 15th through March 8th. Friday and Saturday performances are at 8 pm and Sunday performances are at 2 pm. ERC to Bring TCHAIKOVSKY: NONE BUT THE LONELY HEART to BAM, 3/5-9

Celebrating its 13th season, the Ensemble of the Romantic Century (ERC) presents Tchaikovsky: None But the Lonely Heart at The Fishman Space in the new BAM Fisher. A fully staged theatrical concert blending striking music, powerful language and biography, Tchaikovsky: None But the Lonely Heart delves into the unconventional 16-year long relationship between one of the great composers of the 19th century and his patroness, Madame von Meck. Written by Eve Wolf and directed by Donald T. Sanders, this evening-length production seamlessly interweaves a dramatic script performed by actor Simon Fortin (Tchaikovsky) and actress Ariel Bock (Madame von Meck) of Shakespeare & Company with live chamber and vocal music performed by violinist Rachel Lee Priday, cellist Adrian Daurov, pianist Eve Wolf and tenor Blake Friedman. Featuring some of Tchaikovsky's epic pieces including Piano Trio in A Minor, Tchaikovsky: None But the Lonely Heart represents some of the composer's balletic works through dance both choreographed and performed by American Ballet Theatre dancer Daniel Mantei.

Michael Praed to Star in THE WHITE CARNATION at Jermyn Street Theatre from Feb 4

Following a critically acclaimed and sell-out run at the Finborough Theatre, the first production in sixty years of R. C. Sherriff's supernatural drama, The White Carnation transfers for a limited three week run to Jermyn Street Theatre, opening on Tuesday, 4 February 2014 (Press Night: Thursday, 6 February 2014 at 7.30pm). The show stars Michael Praed (Design for Living - West End, Robin of Sherwood, Dynasty) who joins the existing superlative Finborough Theatre cast, which includes acclaimed newcomer Daisy Boulton and Benjamin Whitrow (Mr. Bennet in BBC's Pride and Prejudice).

LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, RED & More Set for Hangar Theatre's 2014 Season

For its 40th Anniversary Mainstage Season in the summer of 2014, the Hangar Theatre will produce four plays that offer audiences a spectrum of experiences representing the best of live theatre. Kicking off the season on June 12 is the Tony Award-winning play Red (June 12-21), a passionate and brilliant study of artist Mark Rothko as he attempts to create the largest commissioned exhibit in modern art. Second in the season lineup is the regional premiere of Around the World in 80 Days (June 26-July 5), featuring an ensemble cast of five actors playing a cast of hundreds as they take the audience on a theatrical adventure based on the classic novel by Jules Verne. This historical Welles and Porter partnership (Citizen Kane & Touch Of Evil meets Kiss Me, Kate & Anything Goes) is based on their take on Jules Verne's Around The World in 80 Days. AROUND THE WORLD will play a series of 'Benefit/Fundraising' performances in London's Lilian Baylis Theatre, Sadler's Wells, and will be unveiled to Americans for the first time in over seventy years at New York's Mint Theatre.

The unknown play written by Orson Welles and Cole Porter Around The World, based on Jules Verne's Around The World in 80 Days, is to play a series of benefit performances in London's Sadler's Wells and New York City's Mint Theater. The performances are fundraising events for The Lost Musicals Charitable Trust (UK). This production marks the first time it will be seen in NYC since the original production in 1946. Sudden Industries Releases New eBook Series, PERFUME BANDITS

Sudden Industries today announced the release of Zane and the Steampunk Riders: Perfume Bandits, its first title in a series of western steampunk stories targeting hard to reach reluctant boy readers. The eBook, set in a Jules Verne-esque Wild West landscape, follows a band of heroic young steampunks in a fun, fast-paced and gadget-filled adventure story. James Seol Joins Off-Broadway's AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS

Producer Cedric Yau has announced that James Seol will step into the 17 roles originated by Jimmy Ray Bennett in Around the World in 80 Days, beginning Tuesday, September 17th. Bennett's last performance will be Sunday, September 15th­ at 7pm. Guy LeMonnier heads the cast as the phlegmatic Phileas Fogg, with Shirine Babb, Matt Lutz, and Gary Littman rounding out the ensemble cast. Rachel Klein directs.
