Mario Cantone is set to perform at the Ridgefield Playhouse for a night of stand up comedy, music and more on March 2nd.

Emmy Award winner and Tony Award nominee Tammy Blanchard will star opposite Kristin Davis in the original Lifetime TV movie "Of Two Minds." Blanchard plays Davis' younger sister who is dealing with schizophrenia. "Of Two Minds" premieres on Lifetime network on Saturday, March 10, at 8pm.

The Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs (MAC) has announced the nominees for the 26th Annual MAC Awards. The winners will be announced live at the MAC Awards Show on Thursday, March 29th, at the world-famous B.B. King Blues Club & Grill.

Opening Wednesday, March 7, 2012, and playing through March 31, ArtsWest presents THE RISE AND FALL OF LITTLE VOICE. Winner of the Laurence Olivier and Evening Standard Awards for "Best New Comedy," when it first appeared in London in 1992, THE RISE AND FALL OF LITTLE VOICE is written by British playwright, Jim Cartwright.

Gradually emerging as a work for the theater from casual beginnings in Houston in 1988, expanded for productions in Atlanta and Nashville (starring Mandy Barnett) in the mid-1990s, then to off-Broadway, to Chicago and beyond, "Always…Patsy Cline" was created to frame the immortal songs and voice of Patsy Cline in a theatrical context.

According to Deadline.com, stage and screen actor Victor Garber will star in the upcoming NBC drama pilot NOTORIOUS. The project is from Universal TV and BermanBraun with a script by Liz Heldens.

Granted, Babes in Hollywood isn't for all theater audiences-although, frankly, it should be…what's with you people?-and you'll certainly love it more if you're at least somewhat informed about the Garland/Rooney film oeuvre or the legendarily close relationship the two young stars forged as children and continued throughout their lives. Although that friendship was abruptly ended in 1969 when Garland died in London (I remember reading the news in the Memphis Press-Scimitar as a sixth grader), I've no doubt Mickey Rooney still has conversations with his old pal, somewhere within the recesses of his memory and his heart.

The Picture Show at Bay Street Theatre continues in March with Deborah Kerr Weekend with THE END OF THE AFFAIR on March 2 and FROM HERE TO ETERNITY on March 3. William Holden Weekend includes STAALAG 17 on March 9 and BRIDGE ON THE RIVER KWAI on March 10.

Pacific Northwest Cabaret Association presents the 5th annual 'March is Cabaret Month' celebration, which will be on two consecutive Saturdays, March 3 and March 10, at Egan's Ballard Jam House. There are four distinct shows displaying the award-winning talents of many of Seattle's cabaret performers and music directors. Most of the participants have attended the International Cabaret Conference at Yale University.

Variety reports that Michael Sucscy ('The Vow') is in negotiations as the possible director of a Beach Boys musical film that would feature a fictional story told through the music of The Beach Boys. Fox 2000 would helm the film. Susannah Grant ('Erin Brockovich') has written an untitled manuscript.

Journey to a world of witches, wizards and munchkins in the Yardley Players' production of the musical, "The Wizard of Oz" at Mercer County Community College's Kelsey Theatre. Dates and show times for this enduring classic are: Fridays, March 23 and March 30 at 7:30 p.m.; Saturdays, March 24 and March 31 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; and Sundays, March 25 and April 1 at 2 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is located on Mercer's West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road. A reception with the cast and crew follows the opening night performance on March 23. (Note: Earlier start time for family audiences.)

The COLUMN AWARDS Board of Directors and the Executive Director/Producer announced today that Tony Award winner and Kennedy Center Honoree Chita Rivera will be the Co-host for the 13th Annual COLUMN AWARDS Gala.

The Media Theatre will hold its annual fundraising Gala on Saturday evening, February 25 with Broadway's legendary Tony nominee Andrea McArdle performing in concert.

Directed by the Tony® Award winning Terry Johnson, End of the Rainbow will begin performances on Monday, March 19, 2012 at the Belasco Theatre, with an opening night now set for Monday, April 2. Feinstein's at Loews Regency will continue its Winter/Spring 2012 season with the return of Linda Eder in her new show "Songbirds," which pays tribute to the great ladies of music including Lena Horne, Etta James, Barbra Streisand, Judy Garland, Eva Cassidy and more. The engagement will run from March 13 to March 17 at the Loews Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street).
