Himself and Nora, a new musical with book, music, and lyrics by Jonathan Brielle will play the Minetta Lane Theatre (18 Minetta Lane, between Sixth Avenue and MacDougal Street) beginning on May 14th. In its first production following a hit Off-Broadway run, Jesse Eisenberg's THE REVISIONIST will receive its West Coast debut at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in a new production directed by Robin Larsen. Leading the cast is Tony Award-winning star of August: Osage County Deanna Dunagan, Seamus Mulcahy and Ilia Volok. Previews begin in the Lovelace Studio Theater on Tuesday, March 29. Today's 'out of context life lesson' comes from Rupaul's Drag Race contestant and all-around wonder woman, Mrs. Kasha Davis. Do yourself favor and check this lady out, because she is an absolute doll. Sweet, funny, talented, and charismatic, Mrs. Davis is a terrific entertainer and personality. The other day she appeared on YouTube's WOWPresents's segment "Ring My Bell," where callers can phone in and speak with drag icons. Right off the bat, Mrs. Davis shows her wise and caring side when a caller named Houston requests some advice for people just starting out in drag. She tells them, "Number one: there's a lot of gals out there that have paved the way - watch them, get some ideas, pull from those. Number two: practice, practice, practice! And number three - just own it! Whatever it is you're going to do, own it and love it and everyone will too!"

?Connecticut Repertory Theatre will present Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility by adapted for the stage by Joseph Hanreddy and J.R. Sullivan as the fourth show of its 2015-2016 season. A classic Mabou Mines feat is to take a theatrical classic, reimagine it from top to bottom, then turn it inside out; the result is a production so spanking new that the original gleams with fresh and unexpected relevance. The tradition continues in a collaboration with Trick Saddle and the 45-year old company. The two companies combine forces in the world premiere of 'Imagining the Imaginary Invalid,' inspired by 'The Imaginary Invalid,' Moliere's piercing satiric take on the pretension, gullibility and vulnerability of we poor mortals. Presented by La MaMa, a production of Mabou Mines and Trick Saddle, the play runs January 21-February 7 at La MaMa's Ellen Stewart Theatre.
