REAL WOMEN HAVE CURVES is now in its final performances at The Pasadena Playhouse (Artistic Director, Sheldon Epps) and must close Sunday, October 4, 2015. The 25th anniversary production of Josefina Lopez's play directed by Playhouse Associate Artistic Director Seema Sueko was a smash hit with both critics and audiences alike.

The Pasadena Playhouse production of REAL WOMEN HAVE CURVES by Josefina López and directed by Seema Sueko opened in conjunction with the Wells Fargo Theatrical Diversity Project fundraising event. Legendary director, choreographer and producer Kenny Ortega will be the 2015 Diversity Award Artistic Honoree and Abel Ramirez, founder of El Portal Restaurant, will be the 2015 Community Honoree. MainStreet Theatre Company, celebrating its 10th season, is delighted to announce the California premiere of Elephant & Piggie's "We are in a Play!" Art Manke is the Director/Choreographer, with Musical Direction by the show's composer, Deborah Wicks-La Puma. The production will play eight school performances from October 5th - 9th, and open to the public on Saturday, October 10th at 4pm. The strictly limited engagement will run through Sunday, October 25th only.

John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men opened on Saturday night at the White Theatre inside the Jewish Community Center in Overland Park, Kansas. Bill Christie directs one of the finest productions of the tragic play produced in the Kansas City area. John Steinbeck's books and plays, though classics, are not for everyone, but the production at the White Theatre is of such a high quality it should not be missed.
