Fright Dome at Circus Circus Teams Up With Fortress Features to Theme Two of Its Six Haunted Houses After Nightmare-Evoking Horror Films THE COLLECTOR and THE COLLECTION

Just when you thought there was safety in numbers... one of the nation's top-ranked haunted attractions introduces its first ever isolation-style haunted house themed around Fortress Features' horror film THE COLLECTION. Beginning Thursday, Oct. 3 Fright Dome takes over The Adventuredome at Circus Circus with five additional houses including one themed around the disturbing traps and ghastly scenes from the studio's first installment in the franchise, THE COLLECTOR.

Tony Nominee Tammy Blanchard in Talks to Join INTO THE WOODS Film as Stepsister

Deadline.com reports that Tony nominee Tammy Blanchard is in talks to join Rob Marshall's movie adaptation of Stephen Sondheim's musical INTO THE WOODS for Disney. She would play the role of 'Florinda', one of Cinderella's stepsisters, alongside Lucy Punch as the other sister, and Christine Baranski as the evil stepmother.

Billy Magnussen In Talks to Play Rapunzel's Prince in INTO THE WOODS Film

According to Deadline, 2013 Tony nominee Billy Magnussen is in talks to play Rapunzel's Prince in Rob Marshall's film adaptation of Stephen Sondheim's musical INTO THE WOODS. Magnussen would replace Jake Gyllenhaal, who recently dropped out to focus on his upcoming indie flick NIGHTCRAWLER.

Milt Larsen, along with Terry Hill, is currently executive producing 'It's Magic!' (itsmagicshow.com) now in its 56th year. A tradition for magic buffs and slight of hand fans, the show has been seen regularly throughout the USA including Hawaii, Washington, California, Arizona and Connecticut. The upcoming production will be appearing at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Center on Saturday, November 30th at 7:00 pm and will be hosted by Michael Carbonaro.

Disney XD's 'Fandom' Slate to Feature Marvel, STAR WARS & More

Disney XD will transform to Disney Fandom, a three-night programming event that celebrates fans and showcases programming from Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, Marvel and more TUESDAY, JULY 30 - THURSDAY, AUGUST 1 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT - 1:00 a.m., ET/PT) on the Disney XD platform. The special event geared towards fans 13 and older, will feature Disney's 'Pirates of the Caribbean' movies and a Star Wars documentary, as well as special episodes created just for Disney Fandom including 'On The Red Carpet' Disney Fandom edition, 'Once Upon a Time: For the Fans,' Live Well Network's 'My Family Recipe Rocks - Star Wars' special edition, as well as 'Meet the Disney Legends.'

Johnny Depp in Talks to Star in David Koepp's MORTDECAI

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Johnny Depp is in talks to star in and produce MORTDECAI, an adaptation of Kyril Bonfiglioli's 1970s book series The Great Mortdecai Moustache Mystery for Lionsgate. David Koepp (Jurassic Park, Spider-Man, Premium Rush) will direct from his own script based on a draft by Eric Aronson.

Bryn Terfel to Lead Lonny Price-Helmed SWEENEY TODD Concert at New York Philharmonic; Runs 3/5-8

The New York Philharmonic will present a staged production of Stephen Sondheim's Tony and Drama Desk Award-winning musical thriller Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, March 5-8, 2014. Bass-baritone Bryn Terfel will star as the title character. Sweeney Todd will be conducted by Music Director Alan Gilbert and directed by Lonny Price, who directed and produced the Philharmonic's productions of Sondheim's Company in 2011, SONDHEIM: The Birthday Concert! in 2010, and Sweeney Todd in 2000. Additional casting will be announced at a later date.

Jon Bernthal, Christopher Fitzgerald Depart MCC's SMALL ENGINE REPAIR; James Badge Dale, James Ransone Join Cast

MCC THEATER today announced that James Badge Dale (World War Z, HBO's The Pacific), James Ransone (HBO's 'The Wire') will replace Jon Bernthal and Christopher Fitzgerald in the New York Premiere of John Pollono's celebrated Small Engine Repair. Keegan Allen ('Pretty Little Liars') has also joined the cast. Small Engine Repair is the comic thriller that premiered to rave reviews and sold-out audiences at L.A.'s Rogue Machine Theatre, where it won the Los Angeles Drama Critics Award for Playwriting, among many other honors. The New York production of Small Engine Repair will be directed by longtime MCC collaborator Jo Bonney (MCC's The Break of Noon, Some Girl(s), Fat Pig) and begins at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street, NYC) on October 30, 2013. An official opening night is set for November 18, 2013.

Yo Ho! ABC Family Airs PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN Marathon Today

Ahoy matey! ABC Family presents a swashbuckling good time with the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' marathon featuring the first three films and the network television premiere of 'Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides,' starring Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz. It all starts today, July 6th and continues into Sunday, July 7th.
