The fictional series explores L.A.'s famed '70s stand-up comedy scene. Season one starred Academy Award® winner Melissa Leo (The Fighter, Treme), Ari Graynor (Bad Teacher), Michael Angarano (The Knick), Clark Duke (Hot Tub Time Machine), Andrew Santino (Mixology), Erik Griffin (Workaholics), RJ Cyler (Power Rangers), Al Madrigal (The Daily Show) and Jake Lacy (Obvious Child) as part of a large ensemble cast. Created and executive produced by Dave Flebotte and executive produced by Golden Globe® winner Jim Carrey, Michael Aguilar and Christina Wayne, the series will go back into production in the fall, with 10 episodes premiering in 2018.

getTV will honor the memories of legendary comedy stars Jerry Lewis, who died August 20 at age 91, and Dick Gregory, who died August 19 at age 84, with a special programming bloc of television appearances by Lewis, Gregory and other comic superstars on Sunday, September 3, beginning at 10PM ET/9 CT.  Lewis who rose to fame as singer/straight man Dean Martin's partner, then went onto write, produce and direct himself in a run of successful slapstick comedy films while raising money and awareness for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Gregory was a groundbreaking African-American standup comedian and satirist who became a leading figure in in the civil rights movement of the 1960s.

Marilyn Maye always packs the Celebrity Room at Dino's Backstage in Glenside, PA, and now fans can get another chance to see this legendary performer as she returns there on September 14, 15 and 16. The month starts off with two performances by Paula Johns and Michael Richard Kelly on September 8 and 9. The duo will be accompanied by The Tom Adams Trio, with Tom Adams on piano, Steve Varner on bass and Grant MacAvoy on drums. On September 22 and 23, the multi-media tribute performer Randy Roberts will showcase his impersonations of famous women.
