American Classical Orchestra To Perform MUSIC OF HADYN, MOZART, AND VANHAL, Today

American Classical Orchestra on Today, January 17, 2017 at 8:00PM at Alice Tully Hall will present a program of works written by some of the greatest composers of the late 18th century during their youth: Mozart, Haydn, and Johann Baptist Vanhal. Works performed will be Haydn Symphony No. 31 in D Major, 'Hornsignal'; Mozart Symphony No. 1 in E Flat Major, K 16, Mozart Piano Concerto No. 4, K. 41 in G Major and  Mozart Piano Concerto K. 107, No. 2 in G Major with pianist Audrey Axinn and Vanhal Symphony in d minor.

5th ANNUAL GUITAR MASH and Brunch at CITY WINERY on 12/11

The 5th Annual Guitar Mash will be held at New York's City Winery on Sunday, December 11th from noon to 3:30 pm.The event, which includes a brunch, celebrates the power of communal music-making while supporting outreach to teen musicians in communities from across New York's five boroughs.

The Crossing Premieres Gavin Bryars' THE FIFTH CENTURY in NYC Today

In its tenth anniversary season, THE CROSSING -- the extraordinary chamber choir from Philadelphia, dedicated to new music and conducted by Donald Nally -- comes to New York beginning today, June 16, 2016 to perform the NY premiere of THE FIFTH CENTURY, a large-scale work for the rare combination of choir and saxophone quartet by the iconic avant-garde English composer GAVIN BRYARS. The event, which will also feature the brilliant sax quartet PRISM and will have Bryars in the audience, takes place at7:00 p.m. at Trinity Church, Wall Street (75 Broadway).
