Budweiser and Live Nation Canada today announced they will collaborate on music events and projects across the country, with the common goal of enhancing the concert experiences of music fans. The multi-year partnership will include a revitalization of the amphitheatre at Ontario Place, which will be named Budweiser Stage beginning in 2017.

In partnership with UTS, Sydney Festival has worked closely with academics, Indigenous elders, artists and advisors to create a series of forums for topical discussions around culture and expression. Focussing on language, history and dance the UTS Big Thinking Forums will explore issues of Indigenous culture, Australian history and the future of a number of artistic, cultural and environmental issues for practitioners, curators and audiences in the arts community.

The music of guitarist Eric Clapton is well-known throughout the world, as Clapton has been in the entertainment spotlight for over 50 years. He has been known to "re-invent" himself from time-to-time, yet his tone, heartfelt playing and sense of style have remained constant, whether playing blues, rock, reggae, acoustic and even standards. The music always comes from the heart.

PRESENT LAUGHTER is a 1939 comedy by Noel Coward. The play's title comes from a song in Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, 'present mirth hath present laughter', that urges the sense of carpe diem. Coward repeats one of his signature theatrical devices at the end of the play, where the main characters tiptoe out as the curtain falls - a device that he also used in Private Lives, Hay Fever and Blithe Spirit. The plot follows the life of self-obsessed actor Garry Essendine (Marc Pouhe) as he prepares for a theatrical tour in Africa. Amid a series of events that border on farce, Garry has to deal with women who want to be with him, placate both his secretary and his estranged wife, cope with a more than slightly crazed young playwright, and overcome an impending mid-life crisis. The story has been described by Coward as 'a series of semi-autobiographical pyrotechnics'.

Featuring an eclectic mix of Broadway, folk, and pop melodies from such artists as John Mayer, Ingrid Michaelson, and Jack Garratt, D'Amico offers a sincere and self-deprecating deconstruction of how struggle forces us to grow, and what it really takes to become more flexible.
