Carthage College, a four-year, private college of the liberal arts and sciences in Kenosha, Wisconsin, will stage the world premiere of 'Up The Hill', a new work by Keith Huff, one of the television industry's most sought-after writers and producers, and one of contemporary theater's most prominent and exciting playwrights. The play will be performed Feb. 27 - March 7 at the Wartburg Auditorium in the David A. Straz Jr. Center for the Natural and Social Sciences, 2001 Alford Park Drive.
Lincoln Center Theater has announced that Patti LuPone, Dale Soules, and Michael Urie will be featured in the cast of its upcoming production of SHOWS FOR DAYS, a new play by Douglas Carter Beane, to be directed by Jerry Zaks. The Tale of the Allergist's Wife opened Saturday January 10 at the White Theatre located in the Jewish Community Center in Overland Park. Barb Nichols directs the play by Charles Busch, which opened on Broadway in November of 2000 running for 777 performances. The Tale of the Allergist's Wife won the Outer Critics Circle John Gassner Award for Outstanding Playwrighting and received one additional Outer Critics Circle Award nomination plus three Tony Award nominations and two Drama Desk Award nomination.
