I Wish You Love is produced with the assistance of the Kennedy Center Fund for New American Plays. The press opening for I Wish You Love will take place on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. The production features Dennis W. Spears as Nat -King? Cole, singing more than 20 of Cole's beloved songs. Additional casting includes Kevin D. West as Oliver Moore, Eric Berryman as Jeffrey Prince, and Michael Tezla as Bill Henry.

Charles J. Bright, 74, a co-founder of American Players Theatre in Spring Green, WI and one of the standard bearers of the classical theatre movement in America, died May 17, 2011 of complications following an 18 month battle with bladder cancer at his home in Great Meadow, NJ, according to classical theatre actor Randall Duk Kim and stage director Anne Occhiogrosso, Bright's life partners of four decades.

Now in its 7th year, National Dance Week-NYC (NDW-NYC), a yearly festival that advocates dance conditioning and wellness, will offer more than 100 FREE dance, fitness and wellness classes over the course of 10 days, starting June 17, 2011. The festival will commence with a flash mob in Union Square followed by a kickoff event at Union Bar on Wednesday, June 15. Washington National Opera (WNO) today announced that American director Francesca Zambello has been appointed the company's Artistic Advisor. Simultaneously, Chief Operating Officer Michael L. Mael has been named Executive Director. With these appointments, WNO enters into its affiliation with the John F.
