The troupe has performed to sell-out crowds regularly at BPA for nearly two decades. Loyola University New Orleans alumnus and noted jazz pianist Matt Lemmler '90 will return to campus to perform a special concert with the New Orleans Jazz Revival Ensemble, featuring guitarist Steve Masakowski, bassist James Singleton and drummer Geoff Clapp, on Saturday, June 23 to at 7 p.m. in Nunemaker Auditorium in Monroe Hall.

New CD from Sean Smith Due For Release March 1st

For bassist/composer Sean Smith, his forthcoming CD 'Trust' opens an exciting new chapter in his musical life. It's his third album as a leader but his first since 2001 and the debut release for his own imprint, Smithereen Records. It features his well-traveled quartet of guitarist John Hart, saxophonist John Ellis, and drummer Russell Meissner, exploring his original compositions. And it marks a rededication to his music following his recovery from a career-threatening incident in 2007.
