BroadwayWorld has just learned that Arthur Miller's THE CRUCIBLE will return to Broadway at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48th Street) this spring. Bill Camp (as Reverend John Hale), Jim Norton (as Giles Corey), Tavi Gevinson (as Mary Warren), and Jason Butler Harner (as Reverend Samuel Parris) are among those who will join previously announced stars Ben Whishaw (as John Proctor), Sophie Okonedo (as Elizabeth Proctor), Saoirse Ronan (as Abigail Williams), and Ciaran Hinds (as Deputy-Governor Danforth).

Up in Arms and Arcola Theatre today announce the full cast for the world premiere of Barney Norris's new play, Eventide. Alice Hamilton directsHasan Dixon (Mark), James Doherty (John) and Ellie Piercy (Liz). The production opens on 25 September at Arcola Theatre, with previews from 23 September, and runs until 17 October, ahead of a national tour to Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds, The North Wall, Salisbury Playhouse and The Brewery, Bristol Tobacco Factory.

TIFF announced today that Canadian actor Taylor Kitsch will be featured in a special "In Conversation With…" event hosted by Cameron Bailey, Artistic Director of the Toronto International Film Festival, on July 30 in Los Angeles. This event is part of the international tour of TIFF's Canada's Top Ten Film Festival, and is presented in partnership with Film Independent at LACMA. Established by TIFF in 2001, the Canada's Top Ten Film Festival celebrates and promotes contemporary Canadian cinema and raises awareness of Canadian achievements in film.

Direct from two completely sold-out engagements in London, producers Scott Rudin and Lincoln Center Theater will bring the Young Vic's critically-acclaimed production of Arthur Miller's A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE to Broadway this fall. The production, which swept the 2015 Olivier Awards — winning for Best Revival, Best Director, and Best Actor (Mark Strong) —will begin previews Wednesday evening, October 21 and open on Thursday, November 12 at the Lyceum Theatre, 149 West 45 Street. A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE will play an 18-week limited engagement through Sunday, February 21, 2016.

Having successfully launched a standalone documentary unit last year, CMT today announced three forthcoming original documentaries premiering throughout the year: “Urban Cowboy: The Rise and Fall of Gilley's,” “Morgan Spurlock Presents Freedom! The Movie” and “Johnny Cash: American Rebel.” Early next year, CMT will release “American Bandit: The Birth of Southern Cool” and “Chicken People.”
