Ken Ludwig's Starry A COMEDY OF TENORS Guffaws at Paper Mill Playhouse Starting Tomorrow

Paper Mill Playhouse, recipient of the 2016 Regional Theatre Tony Award, presents the comedy by Ken Ludwig, A Comedy of Tenors, the hilarious sequel to the Tony Award-winning comedy Lend Me a Tenor. A friendly reminder that performances begin tomorrow, February 1, 2017 for a limited run through Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Paper Mill Playhouse (22 Brookside Drive) in Millburn, NJ.

Alan Gilbert Leads New York Philharmonic Europe Spring 2017 Tour

Music Director Alan Gilbert will lead the New York Philharmonic on the EUROPE / SPRING 2017 tour, March 23-April 7, 2017. The two-week tour - Alan Gilbert's ninth and final international tour as Music Director, the seventh with him to Europe - will feature fourteen concerts in seven countries.

MasterVoices Celebrates 75 Years With St. John Passion by Bach, 2/9

MasterVoices (formerly The Collegiate Chorale), celebrating its 75th anniversary during the 2016-2017 season, presents St. John Passion by Johann Sebastian Bach on February 9, 2017 at 7pm at Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall (57th Street and 7th Avenue, New York, NY 10019).  The production will be conducted by MasterVoices' Artistic Director Ted Sperling and will feature the MasterVoices chorus, Michael Slattery, Jesse Blumberg, Adam Lau, Jennifer Zetlan, Tamara Mumford, Ben Bliss,and Daniel Okulitch,with New York Baroque Incorporated.

BWW Review: DANCE THEATRE OF HARLEM, CLEVELAND BALLET, GROUNDWORKS at Ohio Theatre

Founded in 1969, the Dance Theatre of Harlem, which is housed in the Harlem section of New York City, was the first black professional classical ballet company. Since that time, as was evidenced in their recent Cleveland concerts, the organization has extended its purpose to being racially diverse and performing an eclectic repertoire that stresses empowerment through dance.

Celebrations of John Adams's 70th birthday, which began in fall 2016, continue through 2017 with major festivities taking place in the composer's native California, organized around his birthday on February 15. Additional anniversary highlights during the winter and spring take place in New York and Chicago, and abroad in London, Berlin, and Amsterdam.

Percussionist Jacob Nissly Joins Faculty of San Francisco Conservatory of Music
