Steppenwolf Theatre Company presents its 3rd annual Garage Rep, featuring three productions in rotating repertory by some of Chicago's most innovative, storefront companies: LiveWire Chicago, Theatre Zarko and The Inconvenience. Garage Rep will play a ten-week run February 2 - April 8.

New Leaf Theatre, currently celebrating its 10th anniversary season, proudly presents the world premiere of Redeemers by playwright Bilal Dardai and directed by Jessica Hutchinson. This darkly comic production will take place at Rocco Ranalli's Cafe and Pizzeria, 1925 N. Lincoln Ave., in a private event space within the venue from Tuesday, Nov. 16 through Sunday, Dec. 19, 2010. Press opening is Sunday, Nov. 21 at 7:30 p.m. Admission is a $15 suggested donation. The production will run Sundays - Thursdays; performance schedule and details enclosed.

Next Theatre Company concludes it's 29th season in May with the world premiere of War with the Newts, an adaptation of Karel ?apek's 1936 satirical novel. The story is adapted and directed by former Next Artistic Director Jason Loewith, who penned the highly successful Adding Machine: A Musical, which won a host of awards in Chicago and then off-Broadway where it ran for eight months.
