The ABC Television Network has announced midseason premiere dates for the mini-series 'When We Rise' and series premiere dates for the one-hour drama 'Time After Time,' half-hour comedy 'Imaginary Mary' and the event movie 'Dirty Dancing,'

Ocean State Theatre Company's Producing Artistic Director, Amiee Turner, who won rave reviews for her portrayal of Mama Rose in Gypsy (2015) and last year's concert event Once in Love, with Amiee, will take the stage in a brand new concert entitled,Twice in Love, with Amiee, on Saturday, February 18 at 7:30 pm.

The nominees for the NAACP Image Awards were announced today. The awards recognize the year's best in film, TV, music and books.

On Friday, December 9, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater debuted Hope Boykin's r-Evolution, Dream., inspired by the sermons and speeches of Martin Luther King Jr. Nicholas Ashe, Jasmine Guy, Khalil Kain, Bevy Smith, Phylicia Rashad, Billy Porter and Joe Morton were in attendance for the world premiere, which will be performed during the five-week holiday season.

Audible Inc., the world's largest seller and producer of downloadable audiobooks and other spoken-word entertainment, today announced that in honor of Ralph Ellison's influence on its formation, Invisible Man, Ellison's masterpiece about an African-American man's struggle to succeed in a segregated society, will be available free on Audible for the remainder of the year.
