San Diego Theatres' presentations for this season at the historic and nationally acclaimed Balboa Theatre close with the Monterey Jazz Festival on Tour on April 21 at 7:30PM. Celebrating the upcoming 53rd anniversary of the famous Monterey Jazz Festival, this amazing concert will feature the endlessly creative master pianist Kenny Barron, the daring and swinging violinist Regina Carter, the dangerously hip vocalist Kurt Elling and the soulful guitarist Russell Malone. These four musical greats will come together for a very special concert of exceptional jazz in the intimate and acoustically brilliant Balboa Theatre. One performance only...don't miss it!

The Showboat Majestic (435 East Mehring Way, Cincinnati, OH) will hold auditions for their season closer, THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE, on Monday May, 17 and Tuesday, May 18 from 7-9 pm.

On Tuesday, April 20 the National Jazz Museum in Harlem (104 East 126th St.) will present 'The Joint is Jumpin': Fats Waller: The Organist' from 7 PM - 8:30 PM. The event will be free at the NJMH Visitors Center (Suite 2C).

Arriving on Broadway six years after La, La, Lucille, followed-up by Yes, Yes, Yvette and inspiring Betty Comden and Adolph Green to imagine a musical named If, If, Iphigenia, No, No, Nanette is the kind of delectably frothy musical comedy confection you might not naturally associate with being the stuff of legends.  And yet, quite a bit about this high-spirited romp, now getting a lovingly stylish concert reading from Encores!, has achieved legendary status.

Casting has been announced for the National Tour of AVENUE Q, presented by Work Light Productions. The three-time Tony Award winning musical, including Best Musical, Best Original Score of a Musical and Best Book of a Musical, is about trying to make it in New York with big dreams and a tiny bank account.

Preliminary auditions were held over the weekend and out of hundreds of auditions, NYMF has selected the 10 finalists that will compete to be the 'Next Broadway Sensation.' Belting this year at New World Stages will be: Nathan Brisby, Catherine Brookman, Starr J. Busby, Lisa Marie Gargione, Nkrumah Gatling, Lyle Colby Mackston, Zak Resnick, Angelo Rios, Louise Stewart and Cassie Wooley

After the success of his nine month engagement at Metropolitan Room at Gotham in 2008, Marcus Simeone returns with his all new show 'Everything Must Change' for three very special performances only on Saturday, May 22 at 9:45, Sunday, June 28 at 7:00 and Saturday, July 11 at 7:30. Musical director Barry Levitt will once again lead the band.
