According to published reports, Broadway veteran Bradley Cooper will star in the upcoming film, Paradise Lost, directed by Alex Proyas. Cooper will play Lucifer in this film adaptation of John Milton's classic poem.

Ethan Hawke, last seen on Broadway in The Coast of Utopia, will appear in the upcoming remake of the 1990 film 'Total Recall'. Although details on his role haven't yet been released, it's said to be a cameo. Hawke joins a cast that contains Colin Farrell, Kate Beckinsale, and Jessica Biel; the movie is currently slated for an August 3, 2012 release.
Broadway veteran Bradley Cooper recently chatted with SkyNews about the possibility of starring in a West End show in the future. Cooper commented: 'I'd love to. It's just a highly esteemed place to be...and I'd love to spend more time in London.'

The cast of the upcoming all-star ensemble comedy New Year's Eve has been announced by The Hollywood Reporter.
The movie follows the intertwining stories of a group of New Yorkers as they live through the drama and romance of New Year's Eve in Manhattan. Production is scheduled to begin in February.

BroadwayWorld.com first reported back on August 20th that Ruthless! - The Musical may possibly be headed back to the stage in a new production, if a reading scheduled for September goes well as directed by Jason Moore and produced by Darren Bagert. A casting call had been issued for the lead role of the 'bad seed' child-showbiz terror - Tina.
We've now learned that set for the reading are Betty Buckley as Sylvia St. Croix/Ruth DelMarco, Tovah Feldshuh as Lita Encore and Leslie Kritzer as Judy Denmark/Ginger Del Marco.
