Drury Lane Theatre presents AIDA Through May 29

Drury Lane Theatre presents the Tony Award-winning international hit musical AIDA, Directed and Choreographed by Jeff Award winner Jim Corti (Sweet Charity, Meet Me in St. Louis, Cabaret, and Sugar.) Featuring a dynamic cast led by Stephanie Umoh as 'Aida' ('Sarah' in the 2009 Broadway production of Ragtime) and Jared Zirilli as 'Radames' (first National Tour of Wicked), AIDA previews March 17, opens March 24 and runs through May 29 at Drury Lane Theatre, 100 Drury Lane.

Eric Idle Visits Drury Lane's SPAMALOT

Drury Lane Theatre presents the regional premiere of the smash hit Tony Award-winning Best Musical, SPAMALOT, directed by William Osetek, Artistic Director at Drury Lane Theatre, the new production lovingly 'ripped off' from the motion picture Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Drury Lane Theatre has been awarded the exclusive Midwest rights from the owners of SPAMALOT to present a regional production of the Broadway sensation. Featuring an all-star cast led by Sean Allan Krill as Galahad (Broadway's Mamma Mia! and first National Tour of Thoroughly Modern Millie), Gina Milo as the Lady of the Lake (Broadway's Les Miserables and the National Tours of Les Miserables, Annie and The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas), and David Kortemeier as King Arthur (returning to Chicago after starring in A Flea in Her Ear, Galileo, and Love's Labours' Lost at the Clarence Brown Theatre in Tennessee), SPAMALOT opens January 6 and runs through March 6, 2011 at Drury Lane Theatre, 100 Drury Lane, Oakbrook Terrace, IL. Tickets are already selling quickly.

Writers' Theatre Presents HEARTBREAK HOUSE, 4/19-6/26

Writers' Theatre continues its 2010/11 Season with Heartbreak House by George Bernard Shaw, directed by William Brown. The production runs April 19-June 26, 2011 at Writers' Theatre in Glencoe.

THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS Comes to Ohio, 4/9-5/21

THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS, the provocative and wickedly funny theatrical adaptation of the C.S. Lewis novel about spiritual warfare from a demon's point of view, will be presented in a limited engagement in Cincinnati and Columbus this spring. The production will be at the Procter and Gamble Hall at the Aronoff Center for the Arts, 650 Walnut Street, in Cincinnati on Saturday, April 9th at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. and Columbus' Palace Theatre, 34 W. Broad Street, on Saturday, May 21st at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.
