The 26th Annual Easter Bonnet Competition raised $3,677,855, the result of six weeks of intensive fundraising for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS by 51 Broadway, Off-Broadway and national touring companies.
"Submissions Only," Broadway's favorite behind-the-scenes sitcom, will wrap its second season this Friday, April 27 with an all-star guest line-up like none before. Guest stars for Episode 8 include Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Nick Jonas, Harvey Fierstein, Kerry Butler, Jackie Hoffman, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Lea DeLaria, John McDaniel, Molly Ranson and cast members from the Disney Broadway hit, Newsies. This year's Easter Bonnet Competition presented by and benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, will be held Monday, April 23 and Tuesday, April 24 at the Minskoff Theatre, 200 West 45th Street.

Newsies opened March 29th, at Broadway's Nederlander Theatre for a limited run following its critically-hailed stint at Paper Mill Playhouse last fall. The musical, featuring a score by Alan Menken and Jack Feldman and a book by Harvey Fierstein, played its first Broadway preview on March 15th; the final performance is scheduled for August 19th. Newsies, produced by Disney Theatrical Productions, is directed by Jeff Calhoun and choreographed by Christopher Gattelli.
