On SMASH's upcoming episode, titled 'The Read-Through,' Julia's (Debra Messing) fears increase when Tom (Christian Borle) airs his suspicions of Peter (guest star Daniel Sunjata). Jimmy (Jeremy Jordan) and Kyle (Andy Mientus) confront their own crisis of confidence as 'Hit List' is read for the first time. Meanwhile, Ivy (Megan Hilty) realizes her triumph might not be all she hoped when she meets her new co-star, Terry Falls (guest star Sean Hayes), and Karen (Katharine McPhee) wonders if she can trust Jimmy. Anjelica Huston, Jack Davenport and Krysta Rodriguez also star. Sean Hayes, Daniel Sunjata and Nikki Blonsky guest star. 'The Read-Through' airs March 5 at 10 p.m. on NBC.

On April 22nd, Our Time - a non-profit organization that has been helping children who stutter for over a decade - will hold its 11th Annual Benefit Gala, Worth the Wait, celebrating the bravery and achievements of young people who stutter as well as those who inspire their success. This event comes just one year after the organization honored Offensive Lineman Matt Slauson of the New York Jets, and two years after honoring David Seidler, the Academy Award-winning writer of The King's Speech, whose film changed the landscape for people who stutter around the world. The event has become an annual favorite for a number of celebrities, philanthropists, artists, and social advocates including former NEA Chair and award-winning actress Jane Alexander who has said: "The word has gotten out that this is the best show in town. I go to a lot of galas, but this is the one I always want to go to, bar none."

A film source has confirmed to BroadwayWorld that SMASH and NEWSIES star Jeremy Jordan has likely been cast opposite Anna Kendrick in Richard LaGravanese's upcoming film version of THE LAST FIVE YEARS. We're also told that a deal is 'very likely, but not yet inked'

Katharine McPhee leads a brand new contemporary-sounding SMASH track titled 'Good For You'.
The song is written by Jimmy, the troubled modern musical theatre writer newly introduced in the second season of NBC's musical drama series, played by NEWSIES star Jeremy Jordan.

NBC and Columbia Records just released the soundtrack for Bombshell, the musical within NBC's Golden Globe-nominated series television hit 'SMASH' (Tuesdays, 10-11pm ET), on February 12. In celebration of the release, Tony and Grammy-award winning music creators Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman and show star Megan Hilty participated in a meet-and-greet album signing at the NBC Experience Store in Rockefeller Plaza yesterday, February 13 at 5:30pm.
