The best of Broadway has been performing FREE on six consecutive Thursdays this summer with '106.7 LITE FM's Broadway in Bryant Park 2016' - a lunchtime series that continued this week, August 11 on the Bryant Park Stage.

The critically acclaimed, award-winning Spreckels Theatre Company presents the North Bay premiere of the Broadway musical 'Big Fish,' based on the celebrated best selling novel by Daniel Wallace and the acclaimed film, directed by Tim Burton. Performances are Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from Aug. 12 to Aug. 28, 2016.
At a time when many considered women to be mentally and emotionally incapable of even voting in elections, Shaw portrayed strong, smart women with the ability to contribute to society at sophisticated levels. Shaw also explored class interactions and inspired audiences to laugh at the absurdities inherent within them. These two themes are certainly apparent in MAJOR BARBARA, now onstage at the Meta Theater in Hollywood, presented by Infinite Jest Theatre Company, directed with passion for Shaw's words by Branda Lock with Assistant Director Bruce Starrett.
11th Hour Theatre Company finishes its Next Step Concert Series with Andrew Lippa and John August's musical retelling of the wildly popular Daniel Wallace novel and Tim Burton movie, Big Fish. Artes de la Rosa is proud to announce BIG FISH: The Musical 12 Chairs Version will receive its first North Texas staging this March. The cast features 12 Artes de la Rosa stage debuts for this new musical based on the novel by Daniel Wallace and the Columbia Motion Picture directed by Tim Burton. Artistic Director Adam Adolfo directs the production. He reunites with Award Winning Musical Director Kristin Spires, who previously collaborated on the North Texas premiere of In the Heights, as well as productions of Into the Woods and Man of La Mancha. Serving as Choreographer is Austin Ray Beck whose work was last seen at the Rose Marine Theatre, Artes de la Rosa's home, in Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet. The production team also includes Kyle Harris as Lighting Designer, Mark Howard as Sound Designer, and Costume Design by Bentleigh Nesbit and Rodney Hudson.
