The next wave of nominees has been announced for Teen Choice 2010 airing Monday, Aug. 9 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. New categories include Choice Movie Scene Stealer, Choice Celebrity Fashion Line, Choice Web Star, Choice Smile, Choice American Idol Alum, Choice Country Song, and Choice Country Album. 'Glee' and 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' lead the second wave of Teen Choice 2010 nominees with 9 nominations each.

The Paper Mill Playhouse's production of Peter Pan, directed by Mark S. Hoebee with choreography by Patti Colombo, will close at the Millburn Theater on June 27, 2010. The New Jersey Performing Arts Center raises the curtain on an exciting, expanded 2010-11 season on September 22, 2010 when classical piano superstar Lang Lang returns to NJPAC's Prudential Hall stage, which has been dubbed one of his favorite places in the world to play, as a soloist on two works, Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 3 in c, Op. 37, and Liszt's virtuosic Piano Concerto No. 1 in E-flat Major, with the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, led by Jacques Lacombe in his second performance as the NJSO's new Music Director.

Kelly Clarkson was a waitress from Dallas, TX. One audition changed the rest of their lives.

According to The New York Times Blog the next season of American Idol will allow hopefuls as young as 15 to audition for the show. The max age remains 28. In past seasons the youngest contestants have been 16.

Glee is a worldwide smash hit, and recently started accepting video submissions for a guest star spot on the show. One of the videos by Toronto native Jeigh Madjus has taken the Internet by storm, with Perez Hilton and The Advocate promoting it under the now popular term 'Gays for Glee'. According to a report from Entertainment Weekly, Liza Minnelli will be featured on the soundtrack recording for 'Sex and the City 2.' Liza has a small cameo appearance in the film as herself and will be featured on two tracks, Beyonce's 'Single Ladies' and Cole Porter's 'Ev'ry Time We Say Goodbye.'
