Craig Brewer will host 'Beyond the Screen with Indie Memphis' before the Orpheum showing of THE BIG LEBOWSKI on Friday, August 2nd at 6:30 PM. One of Memphis' most accomplished filmmakers, Brewer is best known for his second feature film, HUSTLE & FLOW, which won the Sundance Film Festival Audience Award for Best Feature and won an Academy Award for Best Original Song. His acclaimed filmography includes THE POOR AND HUNGRY, BLACK SNAKE MOAN, $5 COVER, and the recent remake of FOOTLOOSE. For this special edition of 'Beyond the Screen,' Brewer will talk about his own experience with THE BIG LEBOWSKI and how the movie has influenced him as a filmmaker.
