A venerable Philadelphia institution better known as 'Boss with the Hot Sauce' and 'Geator with the Heater,' Jerry Blavat takes a walk down memory lane celebrating the Great Voices of the '60s with Philly native once teen idol turned 'one of the most sought-after nightclub acts in the U.S.,' Bobby Rydell, Eddie Holman, Jay Black, 'An American Original,' Gary U.S. Bonds, Pat Upton of Spiral Staircase, and Jay Siegel's Tokens on Saturday, January 25 at 8 p.m. in Verizon Hall.
Over 120 performances will be held on stage between July 2013 and June 2014. Highlights include a diverse theatre series featuring Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, Tony-nominated BRING IT ON, Tony-Winning MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, ROCK OF AGES and Green Day's AMERICAN IDIOT; contemporary performers such as Michael Bolton, Kenny Loggins, Michael W. Smith and Clint Black; classical artists including Sarah Chang and Itzhak Perlman, comedians including Drew Carey, Joan Rivers, Jason Alexander and Jim Belushi, and many more (see schedule below).

Two of the Upper West Side of Manhattan's most renowned Cantors - Rebecca Garfein, Senior Cantor of Congregation Rodeph Sholom, and Dan Singer, Cantor at Stephen Wise Free Synagogue - will perform at the Enrico Caruso Room at Grotta Azzurra Ristorante in Little Italy tonight, August 28, at 8 PM. Both singers are opera-trained and have performed on operatic and concert stages all over the world and will offer an exciting program of memorable arias and American Songbook favorites.
