DONKEY PUNCH Begins Previews Tonight Off-Broadway at SoHo Playhouse

After a critically acclaimed run in June, Ivy Theatre will transfer their production of Micheline Auger's DONKEY PUNCH to Off-Broadway. Directed by Audrey Alford, previews of this limited engagement begin tonight, July 25 at SoHo Playhouse. Opening night is slated for Thursday, July 31.

CLONED! Adds 7/19 Performance at NYMF

Following a sold-out Opening Night performance, THE NEW YORK MUSICAL THEATRE FESTIVAL and SPIEGEL AND WOLPOW PARTNERSHIP have announced a second extension performance of CLONED!, a two of a kind sci-fi musical set in the Manhattan of the 90s, with book by Jacey Powers (Picking Up - DR2 Theater) & Dan Wolpow (Keepers: A Broadway Benefit at Studio 54), lyrics by Dan Wolpow, music by Adam Spiegel (Camp Rolling Hills - 2013 NYMF Next Link Project Finalist), choreographed by Ryan Kasprzak (TV: Smash, So You Think You Can Dance; Tour: Billy Elliot; NYMF: Volleygirls), music direction by Julianne B. Merrill (NYMF: Mother Divine) and directed by Tom Wojtunik (Children of Eden - NY IT Award Outstanding Musical; Urinetown - NY IT Award Outstanding Musical; The Miss Education of Jenna Bush - FringeNYC Best Solo Show & Audience Favorite; Edenville - NY IT Award Nominee Best Director; NYMF: The Groove Factory).

William Burke's THE FOOD WAS TERRIBLE Comes to the Bushwick Starr, Now thru 5/31

the food was terrible is a theatrical meditation about death, mourning, and what might be eating away at your stomach. More than a simple two-men-at-bar, this is an evolution into questioning. Can we all clink (glasses) and try to remember who took the dead daughter's (glasses)? Are bipolar people capable of f**king up bacon? Will someone get it together to paint the correct sunrise?

Bristol Riverside Theatre Presents LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, Now thru 6/8

Bristol Riverside Theatre concludes its 2013-2014 season with the popular cult classic Little Shop of Horrors by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman today, May 6-June 8. Directed by Susan D. Atkinson, the ensemble cast features Berlando Drake, Carl Clemons-Hopkins, Laura C. Giknis, Nate Golden, Daniel Marcus, Andrew McMath, Candace Thomas, Danny Vaccaro, and Lindsey Warren.

Partial Comfort Productions (Drama Desk nominee A Bright New Boise) continues its acclaimed World Premiere of AND MILES TO GO by Chad Beckim. Directed by Hal Brooks (Pulitzer Prize finalist Thom Pain), performances run through November 2 at The Wild Project.
