Sundance Institute presents its U.S. and World Cinema Dramatic and Documentary Competitions and the out-of-competition NEXT <=> section of the 2015 Sundance Film Festival, running today, January 22 to February 1 in Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden and Sundance, Utah. The Festival is the centerpiece of the year-round public programs for the Institute, which also hosts 24 residency labs and grants more than $2.5 million to independent artists each year.

WWII Epic FURY, Starring Brad Pitt, Hits Theaters Today

Sony Pictures previously announced that it bumped up the release of FURY to today, October 17. The film, starring Brad Pitt and written and directed by David Ayer, was originally slated for a November 14 release.

Imax Corporation (NYSE:IMAX; TSX:IMX), Sony Pictures Entertainment and QED International have announced that Fury, the World War II action drama from director David Ayer (End of Watch)that stars Brad Pitt, will be digitally re-mastered into the immersive Imax format and released into Imax theatres in select international territories starting today, Oct. 16.
USA Sets March 2015 Premiere Date for DIG

USA Network has ordered four additional episodes of the highly anticipated event series DIG, bringing the series to a total of 10 episodes. Additionally, the network announced that the thriller will premiere on Thursday, March 5. DIG is executive produced by powerhouse auspices Tim Kring ('Heroes') and Gideon Raff ('Homeland'), and comes from Universal Cable Productions. The pilot was shot in Israel, and subsequent episodes are being shot in Croatia and New Mexico. ?
