SiriusXM announced today that it will broadcast exclusive concerts, DJ sets, and special performances live on New Year's Eve.

dick clark productions and ABC today announced performances from chart-topping artists Lauren Alaina, Bazzi, Kane Brown, Camila Cabello, Ciara, Halsey, Shawn Mendes, Weezer and a collaboration from Kane Brown featuring Lauren Alaina have been added to the lineup for the West Coast celebration of "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2019." These artists join previously announced West Coast host, multi-platinum music superstar Ciara, and performers Kelsea Ballerini, The Chainsmokers, Foster the People, Dua Lipa, Ella Mai and Charlie Puth, as well as a performance by Macklemore with Skylar Grey presented by Planet Fitness and a special collaboration from The Chainsmokers featuring Kelsea Ballerini. Airing just after midnight, Post Malone will perform from a stop on his current tour in Brooklyn, NY, marking the first television performance of the New Year. America's biggest celebration of the year will take place on MONDAY, DECEMBER 31 beginning at 8:00 p.m. EST on the ABC Television Network.

The Country Music Association will honor the Messina Touring Group's CEO Louis Messina with this year's CMA Touring Lifetime Achievement Award. Messina received the news personally from Country legend George Strait, who made a surprise phone call last Friday morning. Final voting for the CMA Touring Awards, which highlight vital behind-the-scenes members of the touring industry, closes Thursday, Dec. 13. The CMA Touring Awards will take place Monday, Jan. 28 at Nashville's Marathon Music Works. Jerrod Niemann will return to host the ceremony.

For the week ending Nov. 30 (week #10 of the 2018-2019 broadcast season), THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT (3.83m) beat its closest competitor by +1.22 million viewers and had its largest live plus 3-day delivery in viewers since the week ending April 20. THE LATE SHOW also delivered more than 3.5 million viewers every first-run week this season.

Today, USA Network revealed the 21 artists competing in its new music showcase series REAL COUNTRY and the prizing they will be vying for. The series hosts intimate performances with some of Country Music's most exciting songwriting talent taking turns telling the stories behind their hit songs and performing them as originally written. In celebration of “The 52nd Annual CMA Awards,” Country Music's Biggest Night, ABC is set to air its 10th annual pre-CMA Awards Special, “Country Music's Biggest Stars: In the Spotlight with Robin Roberts,” Sunday, Nov. 11 from 9:00-10:00 PM/CT on The ABC Television Network. 

The Country Music Association has selected rising stars Kassi Ashton, Travis Denning and Jameson Rodgers as recipients of the first-ever CMA KixStart Artist Scholarship. Throughout the next year, CMA and its staff will provide support for the three artists, helping connect each with professionals within the industry as well as providing unique opportunities to participate in CMA-related events during CMA Fest, CMA Awards and C2C: Country 2 Country festival in the U.K. 

Stagecoach music festival started selling tickets on Friday for this April, announcing a lineup led Luke Bryan, Sam Hunt and Jason Aldean, according to Variety.

CMT today revealed an all-star tribute to country legend and 2018 “Artist of a Lifetime” Award recipient, Loretta Lynn, featuring Sheryl Crow, Dierks Bentley and Martina McBride. The trio will perform LIVE from Nashville at the 9th annual “2018 CMT Artists of the Year” special on Wednesday, October 17 at 8:00pm ET/PT. Some of music's biggest stars are set to present at the event, including Sheryl Crow, Keith Urban, Smokey Robinson, singer-songwriter Elle King, Hillary Scott, Jimi Westbrook, Phillip Sweet, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood, along with a special introduction by platinum-selling artist, Trisha Yearwood. They all join previously announced presenter Sissy Spacek.
