Alexander Smashilton? Why didn't we think of this?!

HAMILTON set designer David Korins has been posting photos of the show from the time the cast first set foot onto the stage at the Richard Rodgers Theatre, and he just keeps 'em coming.

The HAMILTON cast finished recording one of the most anticipated cast albums of the new Broadway season just days ago, and last week, BroadwayWorld brought you photos of the men in the recording studio. This week the cast took to Twitter to share pics of every step of the recording process, from the Schuyler sisters, to Jonathan 'Groffsauce' Groff. Check out the fun in-studio moments below!

Celebrities of all kinds have been flocking to see HAMILTON ever since its run Off-Broadway at the Public Theatre, and this week saw stars of the screen in attendance. This weekend, actor and comedian Aziz Ansari, Academy Award-winner Denzel Washington, actor Zachary Quinto, and NBC journalist Ann Curry all caught the show. The new musical Hamilton has book, music and lyrics by Tony and Grammy Award-winning composer Lin-Manuel Miranda, who also plays the title role. The musical is directed by Thomas Kail, with choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and music direction and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire. Hamilton is inspired by Ron Chernow's biography 'Alexander Hamilton.' Meryl Streep just joined the long list of celebrities who have now seen the show, and BroadwayWorld was on hand to catch photos of the Hollywood living legend backstage with the cast!
