Emmy Award winner and GLEE scene-stealer Jane Lynch will host TV'S FUNNIEST HOLIDAY MOMENTS: A PALEY CENTER FOR MEDIA SPECIAL airing Friday, Nov. 26 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Lynch will lend her voice as she counts down the small screen's most memorable seasonal moments from the famous Thanksgiving food fight on 'Cheers' to Christmas gone horribly wrong on FAMILY GUY and the hilarious holiday newsletter scene from 'Two and a Half Men.'

Today we are talking to one of the top-tier talents in her field of producing theatre for television, the estimable Ellen Krass who is largely responsible for many of the greatest television captures of theatrical events in the last thirty years, starting with the filming of SWEENEY TODD and continuing with FOLLIES: IN CONCERT in the early 1980s, through to SWEENEY TODD: IN CONCERT, CANDIDE: IN CONCERT, COMPANY and last year's CYRANO starring Kevin Kline and Jennifer Garner. It looks like GLEE creator Ryan Murphy wants to go all out for the much talked about Superbowl episode. According to Deadline.com, Katie Couric is currently in talks to make an appearance on the hit series. Deadline reports that 'Couric would play herself in a scene with Emmy winner Jane Lynch.'

Stephen Farber, one of the country's leading film critics and historians, will continue his film series Reel Talk with Stephen Farber at the Wadsworth Theatre for 12 Monday nights beginning September 20. British singer Susan Boyle and Glee's newest addition, Darren Criss, are the frontrunners for Billboard's top charts this week. The Gift, Boyle's new album, which has sold 318,000 copies so far, currently sits at number one on the Billboard 200 chart. Glee's rendition of Katy Perry's 'Teenage Dream,' showcasing lead vocals from Criss, sold 214,000 copies, putting the song at the top of Billboard's Digital Songs chart.

Glee has released some sneak peaks of the songs from the new episode 'The Substitute.' The Substitute is the twenty-ninth episode of Glee, and seventh episode in the second season. It will be aired on November 16th, 2010.

The nominees for the PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS 2011 were announced this morning by Malin Akerman ('27 Dresses,' 'Watchmen'), Michael Chiklis, ('No Ordinary Family'), Zachary Levi ('Chuck'), AnnaLynne McCord ('90210'), Jeff Probst ('Survivor') and Audrina Patridge ('The Hills'), along with host Queen Latifah and Executive Producer Mark Burnett at The London West Hollywood Hotel. Prior to the announcement, over 35 million votes were cast by fans across the country. Fans were invited to pick new categories and determine the nominees for the annual awards show that celebrates fan favorites in movies, music and television.

In an interview with TVGuide, Carol Burnett chatted about her upcoming November 23 appearance on GLEE, Dancing with the Stars, and much more. When asked about her GLEE character, Dori,s Sylvester, Burnett said, 'She's retired. They caught the last Nazi. You get the idea where Sue got her temperament from. This mother makes Sue Sylvester look like Mother Teresa.'

Producer Daryl Roth announced today that Margaret Colin ('Gossip Girl'), Anita Gillette ('30 Rock'), Ann Harada (Avenue Q), Mary Testa (Eat Pray Love; Xanadu), and Pauletta Washington ('The Parkers') will join upcoming NYC casts of Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron's Love, Loss, and What I Wore, which has just entered its second smash year at The Westside Theatre (407 West 43 Street). Colin and Harada complete the November cast (November 3 - December 5), which also includes the previously announced Tichina Arnold ('Everybody Hates Chris'), Alicia Goranson ('Roseanne') and Maria Tucci (Mary Stuart).

According to Deadline.com, PROMISES, PROMISES' Molly Shannon will be joinning the cast of an HBO comedy by Simpsons' Tim Long after her Broadway run. The title of the series remains unknown; however, Shannon will play a nun who joined the convent after getting her heart broken at 18.
