Two River Theater presents the world premiere of Be More Chill, a new musical with music and lyrics by Joe Iconis and book by Joe Tracz, based on the acclaimed 2004 novel by Ned Vizzini.  The production is directed by Stephen Brackett, with orchestrations and music supervision by Charlie Rosen, music direction by Nathan Dame, and choreography by Chase Brock.

Two River Theater, under the leadership of Artistic Director John Dias and Managing Director Michael Hurst, concludes its 2014/15 Season with Be More Chill, a new musical with music and lyrics by Joe Iconis and book by Joe Tracz, based on the acclaimed 2004 novel by Ned Vizzini. The production is directed by Stephen Brackett, with orchestrations by Charlie Rosen, music direction by Nathan Dame, and choreography by Chase Brock. The production will run May 30-June 21, 2015, with the opening night on Friday, June 5. Tickets starting at $20 are available from 732.345.1400 or www.tworivertheater.org. Jake Boyd is set to sing in DUETS with The Write Teacher(s) at 54 BELOW, on May 2nd, at 9:30pm. Conceived and produced by Megan Minutillo (in association with thewriteteachers.com), with musical direction by Jacob Yates, the evening will feature music from across the musical theatre canon, pairing Broadway and Off Broadway performers with Broadway hopefuls.

This week, Broadway veterans Adam Kaplan (Newsies) and Jake Boyd (Rock of Ages) appeared in a new video in support of the freedom to marry for same-sex couples for a new initiative called #LoveMustWin, coordinated by national gay rights organization Freedom to Marry, the campaign to win marriage for same-sex couples nationwide. On December 30th, a cast of Broadway favorites will gather at 54 Below for 'A Very Broadway Holiday,' singing holiday songs from Broadway shows and movie musicals.

54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, will welcome five original programming producers: Scott Coulter, Shoshana Feinstein, Brandon Ivie, Benjamin Rauhala, and T. Oliver Reid. In their new capacity, the five producers have been commissioned to create a variety of shows including musicals in concert, songwriter celebrations, reunion concerts, and more.

The complete cast for the hotly anticipated upcoming NBC live TV presentation of Rodgers & Hammerstein's classic family-friendly musical THE SOUND OF MUSIC has now been officially announced.
