Distinguished comedians and musicians will unite for the ninth annual Stand Up for Heroes event at The Theater at Madison Square Garden, tonight, Nov. 10. Chris Botti, Seth Meyers, John Oliver, Ray Romano, Bruce Springsteen, Jon Stewart, and other surprise guests will take the stage to perform for an audience that includes some of the brave military men and women who have served this country, to raise awareness and funds to support the Bob Woodruff Foundation (BWF).

Mike Rosen has been appointed Executive Vice President of Ad Sales & Integrated Marketing, Telemundo Media. Rosen, who joins Telemundo from Starcom MediaVest Group will be based in New York and report to Jacqueline Hernandez, Chief Operating Officer. He will be responsible for leading the network, cable and digital sales teams of Telemundo and mun2 overseeing all ad revenue generation, including Telemundo Media cross-platform sales initiatives and multiplatform integrated marketing solutions. Rosen joins on the heels of Telemundo's best Upfront season ever, with nearly 20% growth year-over-year and more than 15 new advertisers added. Donna Murphy Lands Recurring Role on TNT's TRUST ME

Variety is reporting that two-time Tony Winner Donna Murphy has landed a recurring role on the TNT series TRUST ME.
In 1994, she won the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical for her performance as Fosca in Stephen Sondheim's and James Lapine's Passion. In 1996, she appeared as Anna Leonowens in the Broadway revival of The King and I alongside Lou Diamond Philips. The role earned her another Tony for Best Actress in a Musical.She also appeared in a revival of Wonderful Town (from 2003 to 2005) and in Lovemusik (2007) as Lotte Lenya, opposite fellow Tony winner Michael Cerveris as Kurt Weill. She also appeared in the recent presentation of Follies by Encores and in the BC/EFA Benefit concert of Pamela's First Musical.
Murphy's recent film roles include The Nanny Diaries as Scarlett Johansson's mother and Spider-Man 2 as Rosalie Octavius, wife of Dr. Otto Octavius, the movie's villain. Murphy is perhaps best known to film viewers for her role as Anij in Star Trek: Insurrection (1998) as the love interest of Captain Jean-Luc Picard.

The 2008 New York Comedy Festival(NYCF) and The Bob Woodruff Foundation (BWF) unite to present the second annual Stand Up For Heroes: A Benefit for the Bob Woodruff Foundation at Town Hall in New York City at 8:00 PM on Wednesday, November 5. Regis Philbin will host Stand Up For Heroes, which will feature star performances by Ricky Gervais, John Pinette, Bruce Springsteen,and Patti Scialfa. Both Whoopi Goldberg and James Niven of Sotheby's will make a special appearance as the guest auctioneers. In honor of the United States' injured service members, the evening promises unforgettable performances, laughter, and sincere gratitude, with proceeds going to the BWF.
