Irish Repertory Theatre presents Eugene O'Neill's THE EMPEROR JONES, directed by Ciaran O'Reilly (Shining City), and starring Obi Abili (Ivo Van Hove's Antigone at BAM). THE EMPEROR JONES begins performances tonight, March 1, 2017 at Irish Rep Theatre (132 West 22nd Street) on the Francis J. Greenburger Mainstage, opens on March 12, and runs through April 23, 2017.

???????Following a sold-out run at the National Theatre's Lyttelton Theatre, the National Theatre will begin a UK tour of its acclaimed production of HEDDA GABLER throughout 2017/2018.

Following a sold-out run at the National Theatre's Lyttelton Theatre, the NT will begin a UK tour of its acclaimed production of Hedda Gabler on 2 October 2017.  Beginning at Theatre Royal Plymouth,  the tour will journey across the UK to Edinburgh, Leicester, Salford, Norwich, Hull, Aberdeen, Northampton, Wolverhampton, Nottingham, Newcastle-upon-Tyne and Milton Keynes, where the tour finishes on 3 March 2018.

New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) has announced the launch of the new 2050 Administrative Fellowship Program for aspiring theatre administrators.

Sienna Miller and Jack O'Connell will lead the cast as Maggie and Brick in Benedict Andrews' Young Vic production of Cat On A Hot Tin Roof which will begin previews in the West End at the Apollo Theatre on 13 July 2017.

The Old Globe today announced the complete cast and creative team of the world premiere of Nick Gandiello's touching and timely drama The Blameless, which was developed in a reading in the Globe's Powers New Voices Festival last year.Gaye Taylor Upchurch (The Last Match, Bethany) returns to the Globe to direct.

Obsession, an adaptation of the Luchino Visconti film starring Oscar nominee Jude Law and directed by Tony and Olivier award winner Ivo van Hove, is the latest National Theatre Live screening to be announced and will be broadcast to cinemas from the Barbican Theatre in London on Thursday, May 11, 2017.

In a co-production with the Young Vic-which partnered with Isango on 2014's Olivier Award-winning The Magic Flute-the company adapts for the stage South African native Jonny Steinberg's 2015 book about a Somali refugee's journey from Mogadishu to Johannesburg and finally to the US.

Due to popular demand, New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) (Artistic Director James C. Nicola and Managing Director Jeremy Blocker) announced today a two-week extension of THE OBJECT LESSON, the third show in the 2016/17 Season.

Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts and Deaf West Theatre (DWT), the performing arts organizations behind the Tony Award-nominated and Ovation Award-winning revival of Spring Awakening, reunite to bring multiple Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Edward Albee's At Home at the Zoo to life in an innovative and new production. Edward Albee's At Home at the Zoo begins previews on March 7 and will open in the Lovelace Studio Theater at The Wallis on Friday, March 10. It will run through March 26. This production is made possible by the generous support of Meeghan and Michael Nemeroff.
