Detroit runs September 9, 2013 to October 6, 2013, with performances Tuesday-Friday at 8pm, Saturday at 3pm and 8pm (September 14 at 8pm only), and Sunday at 2pm and 7pm (September 15 at 7pm only). Monday and Tuesday, September 9 and 10, will be Pay-What-You-Can performances and begin at 8pm.

An absurdist-play-meets-party-game that The Washington Post noted 'the gratification is immediate' and dubbed it 'more Airplane than Andromeda Strain,' A Killing Game promises audiences the most fun they'll ever have dying. The show, and the game within it, begins with the outbreak of a deadly disease. Audience and performers together play along in series of scenes, contests, and songs led by game show host, Mr. Chrome, and the seductive but elusive 'Our Friend in Black.'

This show is worthy of a look if only for the brilliance that is Susan Lynskey's heartbreaking acting.

Forum Theatre presents the area premiere of Clementine in the Lower 9, from playwright Dan Dietz, music composed by Justin Ellington, and directed by Derek Goldman May 23 - June 15, 2013. Everyman Theatre has announced the cast of the Tony Award-winning comedy, God of Carnage by Yasmina Reza. Resident Company Members Megan Anderson, Deborah Hazlett, and Bruce Randolph Nelson will be joined onstage by celebrated DC actor Christopher Bloch. The comedy is the second production in Everyman's new home located in downtown Baltimore, which opened this January.

Round House Theatre launches the 2013 portion of its Bethesda season with David Mamet's Glengarry Glen Ross, which runs February 6 thru March 3. Mitchell Hébert directs this searing Pulitzer Prize-winner. Opening night is Monday, February 11, 2013.

'Our Class' is certainly a difficult piece of theatre, but those who take the time to see this epic narrative will likely appreciate not only the artistic merits, but also the lessons that can still be learned from the story.

Though the script has some deficiencies that even the talented cast and director can't overcome, Diaz's creation does have a lot of heart and he deserves kudos for originality. Woolly starts its season strong with this show.
